Do we turn up

Once again we appear to be sleep walking to our end of season midtable position. The thing is, with 3 wins I fancy we'd be in with a shout of Europe 🇪🇺. Do we turn up as fans, I mean go to the game but do we let the team know that we are there and bothered or do we act the same as them?

I feel like we need a WhiteWall to turn up and roar the team on, if we show the passion just maybe it could be infectious!

"Doc, I've got a cricket ball stuck up my backside
"How's that?"
"Don't you start"

Never mind turning up Jake. Isn't the goal (excuse the pun) to play your absolute best and win every game you can.
It's not like they've spent the week posting letters and parcels or mending leaky toilets. A little bit of training Wednesday night then an early start Sunday morning to get to Wanstead Flats to play against someone who thinks your ankles or shins could do with some adjustment.

Totally agree James, this season is my last as a ST holder, I'll attend 4 or 5 games next season at the Cottage and probably the cheaper one's at that.  Heading for none league next season for most of my football fixtures.

Just finding Prem football a bit off in all honesty, the officials/VAR unable to celebrate goals and the blatant  financial cheating by the big boys.

But anyway let's get behind the team tomorrow  :slap:

I haven't been for 2 seasons now and I only live 5 minute walk away, mainly due to health issues, and I would miss most of the game as I can't keep standing up, but in saying all that do I miss it, no I don't anymore.

The football is just so boring it is hard to get excited about it, I go to most home games and some away, and this season is now the most boring, slow, predictable, walking style old man footballI have ever seen. This is worse than Parkerball.

The only excitement I have right now is the pending incoming Thomas Frank who will hopefully clear out the dead wood and breathe some excitement into our play.

One message for Silva for tomorrow do something different even if we lose. Your supposed to be a genius.

Well, as I moved Villa to 12.30pm on Sunday I very nearly was not going to turn up.

Fortunately, or not depending on the performance, the ⏰ the club sends 24-hours before kickoff has worked.

WindyCity

A bit confused here.  Is our game v Villa tomorrow (Saturday) or on Sunday?

Preesh the clarification.....

I have a season ticket but due to a foot op these boots aren't for walking I was thinking going posh corperate next season but being paper no discount and I doubt I would go to every game so would there be a market for the club to use my games I go to i live LBG quite a trot the football is very dire at the moment  and the steps in the hammyend are a bit  awkward at the moment it's a problem.I helped sponsor the academy when bullivant was in charge we did a deal on team coach 4 supporters could go on the coach went to vip in bottom div under Micky adams those paid for coach for team two subs those days 1 acted as kit man the other got the fish and chips after the game those were the days now we're lucky if they turn up and when your manager sulks I know if I was chairman I know what I would do.Was shocked that mendis was his agent did he not have 10% of wolves once and the problem buying players makes you wonder.

I only got to two games this season. It's became a hassle to get to games from Margate then home again.
Fulham and the Cottage will always be my club. So many great games. Happy memories from when I first started going at around 11. Cycling to my nans just by Fulham Power Station and then to the Cottage in Uncle Ray's van with my other uncles. Driving to Germany with you and your son. For the Europa final.
I've been thinking of going more regularly to see Margate (a ten minute walk) as they're my local team now.

The Old Count

The above comments reflect the demise of the real true fans and the rise of the tourists.
The corporate nature of the game these days leaves many people cold, especially the old timers.

Remember kicking a football into someone's garden - 'Please mister, can we have our ball back'.

Well now it's, 'Please mister, can we have our game back'.

To be fair to the club, they can't stand still and preserve what we had.
We probably had the best of it. The nievety of believing we could win every game. How Conway and Barret were head and shoulders above anyone else's wingers. The Tigana, Keegan, Jocanovic, Hodgson years and to be fair the Marco Silva years.
If tourists fill the ground and the Khans keep moving us forward. Then it's in safe hands. Just not for us but then there's daytime TV, allotments and moaning to look forward too  ::wink::

I've got gardening to do.... we've got starlings nesting & the chicks are making a right old racket.... I'm currently changing the water everyday for them & putting out food.... we've also got a baby squirrel bouncing around the garden, causing mischief with the wood pigeons... it's all go

We have got dam foxes that have decided to use our garden as their playground, have to go out every day to clear up the mess they leave, lots of empty cartons they bring in during the night and just leave them, and as for the noise they make screaming,it's a nightmare.

What has happened to that herd of Buffalo you had grazing majestically in your back garden.
