Currently on telly....flip me this is unbelievable football

Makes you realise how sh*te the football in the premier league is at the moment!

I appreciate Olise was sold for a good few £ but Palace fans must be gutted seeing the player he has become.

That was the single best half of football I've watched in many years. Every players' thoughts is go forward whenever they get the ball, unlike the PL. So refreshing.

I remember him from his Reading days. Serbia's national team current head coach, Veljko Paunovic, was their coach at the time so I watched a lot of their matches. You could see there already how talented he is. I always thought he was going to be great.

Btw, shouldn't that have been a red for Davies?

I thought that if you deliberately use your hand to prevent a goal or a goalscoring opportunity it's a straight red. Because if it wasn't deemed to have been deliberate, then it shouldn't have been a penalty I believe? And either way, from the replay it seemed pretty deliberate to me. He had his hand behind his back and as soon as the cross came in he blocked it with his hand and returned the hand behind his back again.

This is more my standard.... I'd better get warmed up

Although this game is free to view on Amazon UK, I'm watching Southampton v Ipswich - old habits & I do miss some aspects of the Championship.

PSG is such an incredible team. Their performance in the last season's final is maybe even the best performance from any team I've ever seen. They look pretty unstoppable now too.

Edit:Never mind. Bayern get it back to - 1.

Slaphead in Qatar

Good attacking play but defensively I would say both teams have been poor.

I hope the Soton-Ipswich match is good because PSG-Bayern is incredible

Also, the quality of the picture is superb....take note sky

Fair play to Bayern. At 5-2 many teams would have lost faith. They've shown incredible resilience. All to play for in Munich.

Tomorrow's game will probably be a complete opposite of today. Two teams who prefer to park the bus than attack.

The quality of dribbling and one-touch passing was just outstanding. Of course you're going to go forward when you can play through midfields and defences like that. I think the issue in the PL is that the defences have improved a lot, but the attackers have not, and it's making for some turgid stuff. But wow, that was just fantastic.

Superb match... some excellent quality - got to say, PSG 1st half Pen looked dodgy... it hit his thigh and bounced up against his arm... very unlucky 😕
Good luck Arsenal against whichever team goes through...

Excellent game. Love the brave mentality of both teams to score as many goals as possible, Barcelona the same. Three very admirable coaches.

To be fair the best games usually involve a fair amount of suspect defending, that's how you get goals galore.

Not sure we can really say the premier league is better defensively. The prem teams got thumped this year in the knockouts . ( apart from arsenal) . The attacking play from these teams is way above what has been served up this year .

I also noticed how quickly corners are taken in the champs league . The ref doesn't allow a minute of pushing and shoving before blowing the whistle , just get on with it , great to see .

Best football I've seen since Tigana's Fulham.
