Haven't posted this season but need a rant and our left side today is the worst I've seen all season.
Hats of to Robinson, if he wants a move that first 45 will have league 1. Clubs lining up outside Motspur Park.
That's me done with the man......he just isnt a premier level footballer.

SerbianLad

I don't like to pile on to criticism of Fulham players, but Robinson has been incredibly poor today. One of the worst performances of any player in a Fulham shirt in many years. Gifted them two goals pretty much and was terrible throughout.

SimonDaviesEnjoyer

Yeah it's worrying that he never found his gears again post-injury. Hopefully this has been a blip and he can get back to it next season.

He never had it in the first place. He is just a super athlete never a footballer.

St Eve

He was shocking

This is revisionist, up to his injury he was a big part of our success both going forward and defensively

demeant0r

He was one of the POTS last season so it's seriously disappointing he's not been able to recover from his injuries

He used his speed to compensate for a lack of footballing brain. When the gas no longer turned on, he was found wanting.

Simply91

Even more Frustrating as he looked good when he came on at villa...

Not sure the surgery apart has happened to him unrecognisable from previous seasons.
If he has a good world cup, it might make for a club  to put an offer in for him.

The Little Dave

Absolutely unbelievable player for us in some important years, watching him and Willian was incredible, but deal him for what we can in the summer. He's obviously been very poor overall sense coming back but today was another level of low.

Twig

His form since his injury and the operation has fallen off a Cliff. What we are most certainly not privy to is whether he is still recovering, whether our medical team believe he can recover his old pace and how long (if at all) this might take.

Without this inside information it's impossible to call whether the club should retain him or try to sell (and what the chances are of his passing a transfer medical).

MikeTheCubed

Had no pre-season, and then had an unexpected setback in his recovery. He hasn't gone from our player of the season to League One standard in one year.

LittleErn

He was indeed poor today. Where was he when Raul was made to look foolish for the first goal? However, there HAS been a virus in the camp (hence Berge's absence) and looking at the way he was struggling to get back at times he might (might - I don't know) just have been suffering from it - especially as there is no other option at left back at the moment.

hovewhite

He's performing like it MTC.

Disagree, one of his biggest strengths the last couple years was his reading and baiting of interceptions. Watched him closely off the ball and he frequently would be leaving just enough gap to tease the opposition into making the wide pass/switch thinking they had enough room and then reading it brilliantly he would be ready waiting to step up to intercept before launching into a counter attack at speed.

He can, when sharp, read the game well AND recover due to athelticism. But he's been no where near that form this year for sure. Heads all over the place and can only hope it's temporary

In my opinion he has checked out of fulahm for the world Cup and couldn't care less. He will play the WC and be done. Today was his worst performance ever

Not sure that's the case, I think he is struggling after the injury, as others have said. If what you say is true, while bad, it's not the absolute worst case scenario, as he might have a good World Cup and we can sell him then.

I'm very worried about the Bournemouth match now. If Sess isn't back, we can either play Robinson again and hope he returns to his best, play Castagne there, which isn't ideal as he's right footed or play Bassey, which isn't ideal as he pretty much exclusively plays as a cb for us and I'm not sure he'd have good positional awareness there. The few times he did play there for us, from memory, he didn't do too well.

Missing a whole pre season hasn't helped and not having a Owabi and a William down he's side like past seasons has probably affected him also
