Games for the Weekend 21/12

This weekend we welcome Leeds United to Craven Cottage for a 3 o’clock kick off.

Fulham v Leeds United

After our 3rd defeat in a row we now get to play probably our toughest opponents so far this season!
In some ways our current form could lull Leeds into a false sense? they’ve been outstanding all season and we’re constantly inconstant. If we play to our potential, we have to at some time? and if Leeds are a little overconfident then we will surprise them.

Our recent record against Leeds is interesting, we’ve won 2, lost 1 and drawn 5 so “history” shows that it should be a tight game.

Leeds captain and key defender Liam Cooper could be back in the heart of their defence, Mitro’ will give him a real test and should be an interesting contest between the two of them.

  1. Started supporting in April 1959.
First game watched- Luton v FFC 20 Jan 1960
Watched Leeds score 5 in a snow storm at Craven Cottage and road my unreliable BSA motorbike back to Oxford while frozen to the handle bars.
Followed our European adventure while walking the Camino and saw the final in a bar the mountains of northern Spain-I was surprised to find I was the only Fulham fan.
You gave me 3 complimentary tickets to watch a home game with my sons.
I live in France and supporting the Lilywhites has kept me grounded in the wonder that is English league football. Thank you to a rewarding sporting institution.
