Reed is known to be a battler as well. Plus he has the physical presence, so could be a good fit for this game. It'll be interesting to see
Feel for the 4th official tonight.
A defensive looking bench?

Glad to see Paterson on the bench, decent player when fit.
Nervous seeing Betts come out to play sweeper keeper there.

Do I hear Fulham fans singing "your support is f*ckin poo?" Haha nice when the tables turn
Great run by JB
Sounds like a strong start. Coyw
Sometimes you just need to put your boot through it
Would like to see Kmc or Odoi replace Mawson.
Also unsure what Reed offers
first 20 mins looking ok so far
Mawson worries me. Looks slow and error prone.
cav and knockaert need to play amongst themselves more often
defenders darent challenge and things could happen

I'm not talking about one specific incident.
Arter and Reed a bit similar arent they
I am lol :005: re mawson
I think Cardiff have shown they have the trickery to unlock our defence but they don't seem to be able to get much possession
im thinking this game will be decided in the last quarter when fitness tells
cav nearly another wonder goal
poor by Betts
got to be saving that Betts
Oh dear, that was unfortunate.
This has been the most predictable game ive ever seen. Possession with zero end product, then concede
First shot on target for them?
Bettinelli should never start again
Betts should have saved that.
Mitro and a good move
Terrible performance so far, huff puff to their box and then nothing...Scottie needs to get into them at half time.
MITRO!!!! :yay: :yay: :yay:
oh wow, how did it even get to Mitro
Why is Rodak not playing
thank god for Mitro
Great awareness by Mitro.
Betts culpable but look at Mawsons (lack of) pace.
Well done Fulham for hitting back straight away.
If our goalkeeper was semi coherent at making saves, we go in 1-0 up but go hum
Mitro, great time to score.
At last, our front 3 might now realise they dont HAVE TO shoot on sight.
Got to play Rodak. As I've always said, Betts is terrible

this I've been saying since his first start. Injuries are a concern...but he can get caught out even when he's healthy. You can't have Ream lead an attack and not expect a counter to cause us problems.
They must have read my post,as they equalised right away...lol
I would love to be a fly on the wall in the dressing room now. We can win this if we step it up a gear despite our short comings at the back, their shortcomings are far more than ours.

Agreed. It's not just them though.
Both Sess and Bryan, when they are assisting in the attack...need to make decisions quicker.
The team may not play well together until they've put in 15 games. Right now there are times when a player is expecting a pass and the pass doesn't come.
It looks like a pick up game of football, but with players of better ability.
For their goal Sess was well out of position. Got left flat footed. Redeemed himself with the assist for Mitro
JFH says FFC have a lot of balls.

True. He was asleep, but for for me a good keeper saves that. Betts redeemed himself though. Sess good going forward but needs to concentrate more, but still playing well.
Gentleman Jim is saying it is a poor game , it must be dire.
We need to put in a better second half performance with a goal or two if we are to come away with any promotion credentials left.
For me we're defending well, build up good. Doing well. Just need to get it forward quicker. We looked good last 5 or 10 mins so hopefully we can start as we finished.
I must credit Parker for beefing up the midfield, lots of steel as well as flair. We look very balanced.

This. I don't think Mawson being a normal center back had anything to do with it. Sessegnon didn't track back with Murphy and went towards the ball instead.
despite the stats this was our bad half. 049:gif
I agree with Jim. The first half was hardly a visual delight. The first 40 minutes was Fulham playing keep away on their half. I really think there should be more options on this "play out of the back".
Let's not gloss over Betts being terrible.
Shot Saving - Terrible
Time to take a goal kick - terrible
Distribution - terrible
Steve Sess at fault for yet another goal.
At what stage do we pull the plug on this experiment?

Needed either Arter or Reed to drop back when Ream pushed up. Mawson was stuck in a 2 on 1 so he had to shield for the cross as well as try to get Murphy out wide. If someone had picked up the Cardiff striker he could have gone for Murphy.

Wow. Are you really Fulham fan?
This playing out from the back is so predictable. It gives the oppo so much time to organize them selves.
Oh gosh what a moan fest it is on here! I am watching the game, enjoying our almost total possession and looking comfortable..yes we conceded but we were attacking again not being totally overrun as I have seen us in the past and we've equalised..maybe you guys need to think about doing something else tonight and lighten up?
Mitro looking great tonight.
The match is live on BBC Radio Wales, apparently but my phone won't let me listen. Dont think it's a geographical thing, think it's rights over the internet...or something.

not a moanfest. 74% possession in a pretty flat game and nil nil, then 1 down seems a likely situation to elicit reasonable critical comment. Still, all square and let's hope for a more incisive 2nd half.

what he said
Mitro on his game tonight.
Shame we can't use the other Reed, I think the space in this game would suit him.
We need to play at a higher tempo, Cardiff are there for the taking. I understand why Fulham are moving it around to wear them down, but it's too Laboured and we need to to move it swifter to open Cardiff up. We must raise the tempo, it's in our best interest.

ralls getting a bit physical
lol as is arter after being spoken to via the captain first half
Very pretty but I'd like some shots on goal please.
we start to look dangerous when one of the centre mids get beyond the forwards, needs to happen much more
I can see Cardiff scoring. Need an attacking sub. Stef on for Arter as he's on a booking.
Ref having a good game
Morrisons to frighten to pick on Mitro but pushing Betts

Agree. For me he deserves his place for his all round game, even though he's made mistakes.
oh give over
Oh ffs! Moron! Why Harry?
Game over cheers arter
Idiot. No complaints there from me.
Embarrassing by Arter, backs against the wall now :(
1 red card bring on Stefjo for another
AK47 levels of idiocy
Oh dear!
Arter did have his left foot clipped but he did not need to dive over like that
would rather bring off Mitro here...
just got 8-1 for the Fulham win with 20 mins left
What a numpty.
2nd goal and cardiff fans giving it the ole imminent

We can still beat them with 10..Coyw
Betts next to go?
Yet again we've created basically nothing. It's great having possession, you need to do something with it.
And Bettinelli should never EVER start for us again. Ever
Great dive by Flint.
Discipline gone out the window so we bring on Kamara. This could be fun!!
Flint should've been booked. Worse than Arter.
So why was Flint not booked for diving in the area to try & get a pen.
Yes, far worse.
just need that 1 clear opportunity, come on boys 049:gif :clap_hands:
Colin will make the most of this if they don't lose.
Is Betts Red/Blue colour blind
So we just need to keep the ball and weather the storm, so Betts keeps kicking the ball straight back to them
TC clattered again...
Rugby challenge, well we are in Wales?
Is the Ref from Wales
Terrible tackle on Cairney. Only a free kick given. Ref afraid of Colin.
That's a stonewall penalty. Shocking ref.
how is that not a pen for mitro?? :031:
Ref will make a bundle for helping Cardiff tonight.
so it ok for them to run around and get a towel tc claps the crows and gets booked
love how cardiff have committed double the fouls but only our players are getting booked
Oh dear. MLM.
Sky pundit talking nonsense.
Shouldn´t be allowed to use a towel to dry the ball.It is an artificial aid. Rubbish ref, booked Cairney as he had to hand over the arm band before leaving the pitch.
One of the most biased refs I've seen for along time
Too stressful
Here we go
Mitro has been our best defender at corners & set pieces. My MOTM.

That's ridiculous tbh. Totally fair in my opinion. If we had a weapon of a long throw, would you argue against the towel?
Although I do get your point as mainly the home team would only get the advantage of it
Dug in well there.
who got stretched off 6 mins ridiculous
Down to 10 men a draw is a decent result but should of won it if Arter wasn't sent off
Good point... in the end. If we'd kept our heads and not gone to pot then this game was there for the taking.
Glad we didn't sign Flint, one trick pony.
Very pleased with the point but why was the ref so afraid of Colin. Mitro should have had a clear pen & Flint should have got at least a card for diving to try & get a pen.
Good point. Not a good result for a team chasing automatic promotion, however.
Ref and Betts were terrible

Well I make that 5 times tonight that you've slagged off Betts. Have to say I disagree with you. But i'lol only say it once.
Make that six times.
Good point given that we were down to ten for most of the second half. Ref was terrible. Worst I've seen in a long time.
Every decision went Cardiff's way. Weak ref cost us

So you don't think he should've saved their goal then?
Never an easy place to go.
Fulham threatens. Mitro flattened in the penalty box. Nothing called. Please tell me what was that all about?
I'll take the point.
Cardiff are poor, and if Betts had a stronger hand this would have been 3 points.
Betts only got half a hand on their goal as the ball bounced just in front of his hand. Without the bounce he would have saved it. I don´t know what else he could have done. Why not slag off our players for missing clear goal scoring opportunities.
Sky just shown the Mitro pen appeal. How can that not be given I will never know.
A point away OK in the end - reality check that promotion has to be earned in the Championship and we are not quite there yet.
Arter's energy will be missed in our next match, but then again he might have been missing anyway as it appears he requires minor surgery.
With our forward lineup surely we should be capable of scoring more than one- Cardiff's defence has been poor up to now!
