How many will Sheff Utd trounce us by?
They won't, our defence will stand up and though we won't score we won't be humiliated, have faith!!

Like finding out the ex-missus you never quite got over has found someone new and is probably going to look in even better nick than when you ditched her!

Sorry - best analogy I could muster up'n

You have just described my ex first wife.

Good luck to the Blades and Joka, not sad at all, life goes on!! After thought though, we must get rid of Parker and replace him with somebody like Eddie Howe!

Sgt Fulham

That's one of the promotion slots gone already then. The Blades have some sexy football to look forward to next season.

Really is time we stopped talking about Jokanovic but don't forget he had bad periods here as well as good, we had to waite a while after his arrival for good results  and then his premiership period was bad. Yes Parker had good defenders this season but then Jocanovic had good attacking players.

The bad periods you describe are because he uses the first 10 games or so, to create the 'identity'. He did the same at the beginning of each season with us. It's a trait, I expect it to be the same at Sheff Utd.

Thats true he did, however at the start of the prem season that condemned us, very similar t this season. You just cannot afford to be playing catch up.

Love Slav, but he was never going to come back to us, shame but thats life

Slavs blades v Parkerball early predictions

If mitro goes with SJ I'm going to have a serious bet on them to win the championship

If he does go there he will sharpen them Blades.  :54: Am I envious? You bet I am! If he brings them to the Cottage he should receive a standing ovation. Well he will from me.  :54:

I will definitely be joining you Bog

Biggest mistake our owners made was getting rid of Slav when they did.

I can still vividly remember Fulham 0 Watford 5 when a certain manager was in charge

I find it amusing that people are now expecting S.Utd to suddenly become world beaters, he could also fail miserably.

Hope you are right and that Jocanovic will need a 10 game settling in period at Sheffield which should put them out of the promotion race.

HV71

It might well take him time to build the right team but he will improve them and the fans are likely to appreciate his style of football . As a football fan all I really want is ' hope ' and if that is coupled with a level of entertainment then I , for one , am a happy bunny.
Currently feeling low on " hope" and bereft of entertainment

Yes he was and that trouncing came after five Watford defeats on the bounce prompting a delegation led by Deeney to suggest they went back to how they were playing before he arrived. He might succeed he might not but a messiah like footballing guru he certainly isn't.

Statto

He's had 3 seasons as a manager in the Championship and his team has arguably been the best in the division every time. Effectively one of the promotion places is now engaged.

Interesting though that he listened - perhaps you might like to give him a bit of credit for that?

So you must feel the same about Bielsa, Lille just won the league with his successor when he left it looked like they would be relegated.I personally think in football things sometimes just click into place for no major reason. What works in one place may not work in another, this goes for players as welll.
Watching the ups and downs since 1958, wouldn't have it any other way, what a roller coaster of a club.

After what he did with us in the championship do you believe that will happen?
