Its the first time I've seen him admit he had a mild stroke at some point and alot is starting to make sense now.

Started wondering if there was something like this going on behind the keyboard.

With Ballo Toure you'd think likely departing, LB cover who is also LW cover.
I don't know, I loved seeing him break through for us, but something in my gut at the time felt he was never going to quite cut it at premier league level. I couldn't put my finger on it but I felt he missed that ability to run at players and beat his man 1 on 1 which is such a big part of the game at the top.

A shame if he did return he wouldn't get the guidance of Luis Boa Morte as I think it'd do him the world of good. But I'd of course get behind him massively if he did come back.

I'd take Sessegnon back, as cover for LB & LW (at a push). I think he'd really benefit from a season with Jedi & Willian (assuming they stay).

I maintain that our priority should be a CM to play alongside Pereira & Palhinha, with the second primary target being a LW. Beyond that we need to improve our squad quality at CB/FB/DM and if we can find a starter in those positions all the better.

Agree entirely leave well alone. Not just injuries since joining Spurs but still very much unproven as a premier league footballer.

I'd love to see him back but his hamstring issues are as bad as it gets - was out for nearly a year, including surgery, then injured it again on his first game back off the bench. He's only made that one sub appearance in about 15 months

Wasn't quite aware as to how bad his injury problems were/are.

My thinking was that on a free transfer it might be worth a punt - could definitely take him on trial and have the medicos run the rule over him.
