Like the look of this. Clips below...23 year old João tackles!

Looks a bit of a beast. Plays 8 more however from what I can see.

Defensive stats are excellent. Tackles very high but in the top 5 percentile for blocks, clearances and interceptions! Considering our dreadful record of conceding from long shots could be a huge help.

Not great for carries snd passing but very high for take ons and through balls which could unlock a defence. In the top 1% gir defensive actions leading to a shot. As I say looks like there is some João in him but a bit higher up. Could say potentially lacking a little bit of the ultra attacking 8 we might have been looking for but we do need one who can defend as well so looks like he could provide a really good balance. If true I like it.

Some exciting potential signings. If we can get Nelson to cover Iwobi on the left, a young quick striker, Zinchenko in midfield/left side, Tete and Cairney to re-sign then all we need is a back up keeper and some goal scoring potential on the right to support Wilson. A good season in store 🤞

Looks like he could be a steal at that fee. Someone on twitter reckoned he was a lifelong fan of his current team so you never know may want to stay but lure of the prem could put us in the mix. Sounds like West Ham interested as well. Fingers crossed.

The rules are, you have to be Under 21 when the tournament started... so for this tournament you had to have been born AFTER 1st January 2002.... crazy I know 😜

Only watched from 80 mins on but thought he looked good.

I read we were linked to Matt Ryan as back up? What about Petrovic at Chelsea looks a decent keeper and reports they are signing Martinez from Villa? Not sure why Villa would want to let him go unless PSR and there arms are tied?

I can't work out this transfer...window/windows...am I correct in thinking the window has had a break...was it broken

SerbianLad

Petrovic is a superb goalkeeper. However, the reason he wants to leave Chelsea is that he wants to be a starting goalkeeper. I can't see him coming here.

Nothing wrong in that and perhaps Leno needs stiffer competition. Could be a win win situation.

the window opened early to allow teams in the club world Cup to sign players but because they wouldn't allow a longer transfer summer window it then closed and opened again about a week later.

IMO a much better option than getting Palhinha back for 30mil. Younger, good stats and 17 mil isn't a huge outlay. Look at what Sunderland paid for diarra. Excited for it if true.

Also don't think zinchenko and Nelson are great options. Nelson for his injury record. Zinchenko as CM and wages. No thanks.

Only thing wrong with Reitz is he's 5'9". Would love more aerial presence.
