If we pull it off Kevin's gonna be one of those who people immediately are hard on (like ESR) worth noting, he's not the finished article, he's exciting , he tries things, but he's also going to get caught out and lose the ball a bit in the prem at times.

His performance here is much like ove seen generally. Does something incredible, then something sloppy and gets caught on the ball on the next play. Sensible to draw a line with amount we spend therefore. Tamed and trained he's got huge potential but I think will need time to adjust to the prem and establish some more discipline in his decision making.

Godo was probably not going to be a future star as was previously discussed. I can see the logic to selling him if the price is good. I don't know why blueco want him for Strasbourg though?

Agreed. Watched a few full games with him. Got some absolute magic but defo describe him as a 'moments' player from the bits I've seen. Could create something out of nothing which we need but could also fade in and out of games. Raw ability is there and very exciting as he develops but not sure he'd come in and completely dominate every game at this point so think expectations need to be managed if we get him.

Doubt Godo in the first team this season was on the cards and loaning him out at 22 is a bit iffy. Really needed that loan last season, but que sera.
