You can pretty much dismiss our links with anyone aged 21 or younger. We've only signed one first team player in that age bracket in the last ten years (Muniz).

However if they have a 27 year old brother with triple the salary demands and a recurring injury problem, we're probably in for him.

George = 19

Kevin = 22

Chukwueze = 26

Average age = 21

I'm not. It would appear we've added a number of options on the wing today and he's out of contract next summer and I would imagine the club really don't want to see him leave on a free.

Quadruple deadline day signings achieved by the sounds of it; average age of those signings is 21. If only they've come a month ago you'd argue it's an 8/10 window (points docked for no new CM) but maybe a 7 given the lateness albeit quality and potential of signings

Think I'd give it a 6.5/10. For a 10/10 you'd want at least half the business done early, a CM, an extra bonus youngster somewhere to pad out the squad, and 0.5 further points docked for the striker solution looking like more of a long-term prospect than immediate boost but yet not having an option.

But even 6.5 will be a huge upgrade on a couple of days ago when it was looking something like a 1/10 window, our worst since the two Dems left.

That's if we sign all four.

The Club is delighted to confirm the signing of Samuel Chukwueze from AC Milan.

He joins on loan for the duration of the 2025/26 season, with an option to make the move permanent.

A Nigeria international alongside Alex Iwobi and Calvin Bassey, Chukwueze will wear the number 19 shirt.

Speaking to FFCtv after signing, the 26-year-old said: "I'm so happy to be here. It's an amazing club. It feels like home, because I have my people around me.

"I feel at home already, and I can't wait to get started."
