Brownhill appears to be off to Saudi on current rumours.

Dasilva is interesting but if he's been training at Brentford and they don't even want to sign him, is he at the level after all his injuries?

Think a new CM if it does come will have to be in January, but I have zero confidence in our ability to do anything in January. Possible someone out of favour at a bigger club emerges as a loan target would be our best hope for something actually happening.

Because we waited til the very last day to do more deals than we were able to manage in a go; given both Feyenoord and Botafogo rejected deals they may have accepted earlier in the window; and just eeking a striker across the line. It's my definition of scattergun.

Appreciate you like to be optimistic, but I think excessively so.

Interestingly I'd heard from my cousin (big Feyenoord fan and well connected there) that we'd contacted Feyenoord about Hwang at the beginning of last week. Turns out he was right!

This the trouble with us supporters, we see something in the media and 9 times out of 10 we take it as fact, when in truth we have no knowledge of what's really happening, all those players that we were apparently after we probably had no interest in the majority of them.
