Not sure with regards to Lukic ESR & Tete but with the returning Nigerian players might be a case of changes enforced on Marco.
Iwobi will almost certainly come in as for Bassey that's a difficult one as Cuenca has been solid. Man management could win the day here in whether we have a happy camper or not for the rest of the season. Does Kevin start? Possibility of playing Sessegnon on his more natural left side? Not sure I see Chuckweze starting this one well not on the right wing.
Think it's going to be all about whether Lukic is fit as that position is slightly more problematic than ESR's where we have more options. Might be another game Cairney starts but always apprehensive when sharing midfield with Berge on the basis of lack of pace not ability.
Looking more like Marco's options will improve by the time we play Everton at home!

Think the only Nigerian to walk back in is Iwobi, or at least I hope so. Cuenca has been playing so well that I hope Marco doesn't immediately replace him with Bassey.

Simply stop playing to DMs and drop Luckic or Berge assuming both fit. Play Iwobi at 8 instead and then you have three space plus a striker infront.

The though of another Berge Lukic partnership in a home game we should be going out to smash worries me

Im not sure Cuenca has done enough to Retain he's place with Bassey tough call for Marco. Probably go Cuenca for Brighton.

Castagne Andersen Cuenca Robinson

                 Berge Iwobi

             Wilson King Kevin

                      Raul

Subs: chuk, Cairney, Sess, Bassey, JKA

Am assuming ESR's knock leaves him out of this one

Personally I would take that team, drop King, move wilson central and put Sess on the right. Chuck on for Kevin at HT if he is not performing

RAY Rock

Chukwueze should walk back in and play on the left wing he is everything I expected Kevin to be when we paid 40 million for him . This is going to be a tough game if we dont win the midfield battle we will lose

I know when Sess had that game against Liverpool on the right side and scored but every other time his played there granted not that often he has looked a fish out of water. Does not look a natural fit having to come inside on his stronger foot like say a Wilson. Personally he is far more effective playing on the left where most of his career especially Fulham is where his been successful and scored frequently. We have better option/s than Sessegnon for right wing position.

Although he has been much more sucessful for Wales playing centrally further forward

Nick Bateman

Hope Harry Wilson gets a full 90 minutes and Silva realises Wilson is more dangerous when the opposition are tiring.
Nick Bateman "knows his footie"

Chuckweze has been what Kevin should have been although Kevin has been improving and Sess has not actually been playing that well. I would not therefore rule Chuckweze  starting out, but it all has to depend on how well they have all been doing in training.

Andrew

I do wonder about some comments here. Kevin is awful and cannot be a starter until he starts performing, meaning he retains possesion and delivers dangerous balls into the opposition box. Sess can start on the left, wilson on the right, or chuka on the left.

King was poor the other day do play esr in central midfield or perhaps iwob

Tom c and berge need to sit in front of the defence if we want to win, tom is the only one that prperly controls a game, retains possesion and delivers a top class dangerous pass regularly.

Leave cairney out and play kevin means losing possesion endlessly cheaply.
