I thought Chuck and TC won it for us in a game we deserved very little from

KentFulham

Also today showed that Sess is genuinely the better LB than AR and when partnered with Chuck is different level

As someone said above, we've been on the end of that sort of thing often enough.

I think that's the point, it's all about pairings. Robinson undeniably has some fantastic abilities but he's not been at his best since his return from injury and if he's even a fraction short of full pace his weaknesses start to show. Sess hasn't been perfect either since returning from his injury but today his combination with Chuck did look very promising. I'd start them together against Man Utd.

Also AR did another bottle job today, similar to palace, something seems to be in his head about putting the foot in

Probably our worst performance in which we got a win that I can remember. That being said, I thought we were superb before we conceded.

Leno had some superb saves, but some poor moments too and could have probably done better with their goal.

Castagne had some excellent defensive moments, but equally he had some incredibly poor moments and overall he was very shaky from start to finish. Robinson the same, without the excellent defensive moments part. Cuenca has been relatively decent and Andersen has been good, the disallowed goal situation aside as I think him or Castagne should have fouled their attacker. Superb assist for Chukwueze's goal

Berge had a very poor game, imo. Always a bit late defensively, didn't offer much going forward, him and Iwobi got bypassed easily after we conceded the first goal, time and time again. Iwobi, a bit better than Berge, but far from his best. I still think that he isn't the solution for the 8 role and I'm surprised some of our fans like him there. He might be suited for that role in a different system, but he isn't in ours and I haven't seen a single game that proves otherwise, bar the Sunderland match. Him and Berge got dominated today.

Kevin was good at times, but pretty inconsistent. Wilson started very well, but once we conceded he dropped off massively and came back alive once Chukwueze cam on. ESR had a lot of good moments, but looked tired to me.

Raul was similar to Wilson. Started well, but once we stopped, he stopped. Battled hard throughout though.

Chukwueze was excellent and should have come on at half time. TC was decent and should have come on earlier. Sess looked better than Robinson. King had his best match in a while.

We'll take the three points, but we need to play better than that if we want to consistently win points. We need to sign a midfield asap, and if we get him in, I'd start TC next to Berge in the next match, with the new striker coming on as a sub once TC tires. Start the new signing in the match after that.

Agree, although I'd say at this point we know Tete is only good for a part season so really I'd like to see us sign a new first choice

One thing that is very apparent is that we need to sign Cairney's successor as a matter of urgency. He can't keep going forever but is a pretty important component.

Quote from: SP on January 24, 2026, 05:01:03 PMWhat a relief, I'll take a win in whatever way it comes. Some feedback from the BHA board:

'I hate Fulham almost as much as Tottenham. Day light robbery. F*** VAR'
They were unlucky but Welbeck was definitely offside. There can be no arguments.

They were well drilled but nothing special IMO.
We were definitely the better team for the first 30 min, and probably for the last 15 too.
Our defending was woeful at times.

Yeah he's more concerned about getting/staying healthy for the World Cup than he is putting in a shift for Fulham. Sessegnon should be the starter again.

Strange, I thought Castagne was excellent. Good tackles, good recovery, had the goal line save.

OZ-WHITE

Not sure what happened with Robinson , had no interest in running anywhere or taking the man on, not surprised he got subbed off
If it wasn't for the medication I,d be chewing on your skin

Yes, he wasn't at fault for their first goal, that on Iwobi for trying a flat pass to no one instead of clearing the ball to the middle

Wouldn't mind a return for Van Ewijk in the summer

I think Castagne has generally been a good backup prem RB. But Marcos system doesn't really suit him, by his own admission. So think we'd do well to explore other options and let him get his move this summer

Shredhead

I'm not sure anyone deserved to win that game but I'm enjoying the train home to Brighton.
I put Chukwueze for the way he changed the dynamics of the game. Thought Robinson had a bad game and no-one except Chukwueze and Wilson shone for us.

Think that's probably a bit harsh. He's a consummate professional and always gives his all historically. Just still working his way back from major knee surgery. We all know what he's capable of, had a feeling when he came back we might not see peak Robinson straight away, or even at all this season as is so often the case for players returning from such operations.

Can often take some time to regain confidence going into challenges and etc.

Castagne. Kept us in the match with clearances off the line. Different sort of player to Tete but we're fortunate to have such a decent back up.
