Just a comment on the benefits of an early cross like the one that led to the goal . Ball coming in from the right with the right foot , nice and early . This means our attackers are on the move running forwards and the defenders are also running back and facing their own goal . So much harder to defend than when an inverted winger cuts back on to his stronger foot . Moment that happens defenders are set and everyone standing still .

First time in a while, usual style is to cut back , recycle and allow opposition to prepare themselves.

Far better yesterday

Yes. I've been harping on about this for ages. Timmy is often a culprit of not putting in a cross when well placed, so good on him. We do play better when we attack more quickly, which is usually when playing a better team who are higher up the pitch. Most importantly, it wasn't just one attacker in the box, there were a few of them, and Sess did what Sess does, finding the ball come to him in the box.

Sess surely has to be THE most consistently instinctive goal poacher Fulham have had in years.

I go back to Super Mac's era in the early 80s and I'm excluding actual strikers such as the legend that is Ivor.

For a non-striker has there been anyone better at arriving in the box to nick a goal over the past 4 ½ decades?

32 goals in 173 Fulham appearances. Plenty more of both to come 🤞🙏🫶
