For those that haven't seen him play he's more a Bobby Moore/Aaron Hughes type of player imho. As others have said i hope he progresses as he has a touch of calm about him.

Having watched him in both the Bosnia and Qatar games, I will say he has played pretty well. I agree with others that Bosnia was not that big a challenge, and Qatar, going down to 9 players after that awful tackle that broke a Canadian player's leg, offered no real challenge defensively.

I'd love to see him in and around the first team next season, but it may be better for him to go on loan in the Championship.

On tonight's performance against Switzerland I'd say he needs another loan. Doesn't look anywhere near Premier League ready. He was poor for both Switzerland goals with 30 minutes of the game remaining.

Delighted for Luc, and as the son of Canadian, really proud and thrilled for Canada to progress to the World Cup knockout out stages for the first time.

For context, their record before this WC was six matches, 0 points, having played in the 1986 and 2022 tournaments.

Spot on. I'm afraid to say he does not have the physical attributes to be a premier league CB. Speed is an absolute necessity in the modern game.
Wish him all the best and I'm sure he will have a decent football career but not at this level.
I understand the clamour of a fans for young players to be given an opportunity, especially home grown talent but we need a reality check on certain players ...

Standard so high now it is ridiculous, the 3 Ss, speed, strength, skill, if you are lacking in any you will be found out... we are OK in goal and at the back as things stand although any upgrades be nice, but really need to add 2 or 3 gems in midfield and up front, big summer ahead, as ever. Not too sorry to see two players passed their peak already off the wage bill. We thank them for their service and move on.

Pretty much agree with most of the sentiment here.  Not ready for the Prem.  Looks like could be nice player, although last game looked totally overmatched, slipping/falling several times and party to two goals scored against.  Was surprised though to see his physicality/body structure.  Looks like he could play that position at top level, many here lead me to believe too small for center back.  Me thinks he could play that position, just a little more beefing up to do.  But, I do agree some seasoning in the Champ might be best for him....

He will have learnt so much after his World Cup is over which should benefit his future club career.

A 6 month championship loan would be the ideal test. He's a talented lad and the WC will give him confidence. Playing at Dender last year was good for game time but also a brutal season playing in a weak side.

If he could cut it at Champ for 6 months, then bring him back in the fold in January if he does well. Finding a club to do that will be tough though.
