Man U want Berge, and Stuttgart want Leno.
Where do they get all this info from.😀

That get their information from the man in the Moon.

Or Alan Brazil's Crystal Ball.

We'll have no manager, or players at the start of the season, if this is all to be believed. .
I suggest you don't believe it.

Thanks for the advice

You would think the owners would spend their money on a hobby they enjoy rather than a football club they don't watch and to crown it all they loose on it you could not make it up .

Why do you keep saying they don't watch, you have never met them so you don't know what they do, none of us know if you watch them, have any of us ever seen you at a game.

Rambler

Hayden Hackney to Everton for £25mil. We should have been all over that.

Although bbc say 16 mil, which is even better

This is what really infuriates me about our transfer policy.

Young, domestic talent which over time could be a huge asset with re sale value, and we are no where to be seen.

Bargain basement dross seems to be the way forward.

Did you blackout and suddenly forget Kevin and Bobb and ESR and JKA and Muniz? ESR and Muniz were young(ish) when we bought them, hell they're still young.

We should be all over HH, and indeed we were chasing him previously, but it requires signoff from all parties.

Whitestone

We should have been all over Hayden Hackney two years ago, let alone now. We probably could've got him then too. That's if our recruitment team look at players in the EFL.

Why do people assume players are not being checked out.

Without any evidence to the contrary what else can I do other than speculate?. Robinson apart, Fulham rarely sign players from the EFL. Examples like Bowen, Madison, Toney, Wharton and Watkins are just a few decent players from the EFL that would have improved us in the past. I'm sure there are many others.

I think there are some players who will always play for northern clubs and there are players who will always play for southern clubs no matter what like Lampard

Hayden Hackney has always struck me as a northern club player

Equally you have no evidence that they didn't, but you have made the assumption that they didn't, you may be right, maybe Silva wasn't interested in him, none of us know.

Curious, was Marco part of the recruitment staff?

It's a discussion forum Alfie. I'm just throwing it out there and haven't made any assumptions, just questioning whether our recruitment team actually consider players from the EFL.

Of course it's a discussion, but you started it by saying, "we should have been all over Hayden Hackney", thus making the implication that we weren't, I was just saying you don't know that we weren't.
Anyway I do appreciate what you are saying.

Hadn't Robinson just failed the AC Milan medical too? Wouldn't be surprised if that's what alerted us to the player, rather than our own scouting.

You're right, we've done so little activity in that market, despite it being so close to home, it has to be that we just don't really target it.

Just curious, but can you give examples of our recent "Bargain basement dross"?
