FFC might beat Norwich and Sunderland, but we aren't going to tie Man U or Chelsea.  I think Stoke and West Ham will beat us.  We are in trouble.  If we lose to West Ham...

We'll still be at the very least 3-4 point above the drops. There are so many shite teams out there this season. The perfect season for transition.

or a wasted chance to get top seven?

On current form there aren't any of the forthcoming fixtures detailed that I'd be confident of drawing let alone winning at the moment. I cannot understand why every other struggling club seems to be already buying players except us. It beggars belief as we must all be seeing the same terrible performances - and yes - I was also at West Brom on New Year's Day but it could have so easily gone the other way - as with Aston Villa and Newcastle at home. We're in big trouble as once the team spirit goes it's very difficult to get it back again...and where are those hoped for new midfielders...nothing. Surely it doesn't need to pan out this way? The Club's lack of urgency and inability to do any deals of any sort in the transfer market to date seems totally irresponsible given the potential real risk of relegation. There's an extremely depressing aura about the Club similar to the end of the Cookie era in feel although we've got a little more talent at the Club this time round...but you wouldn't have realised that on Saturday. Depressed? Yes; Angry? Very!

If ever there was a case for sticking with Jol,it's been made above

grandad

I´m sick & tired of all this Jol out stuff both on this MB & CC. Every damn thread is about Jol. We should be directing all our anger & questions to MAF & the Board.
I´m giong to give reading & posting on the forums a miss for a couple of weeks. I´m bored with it all.

Yes, that's a good strategy, taking MAF to task for dragging us from the fourth tier and subjecting us to the humiliation of watching Premier League football for ten years, and the disappointment of being beaten in a European Final.

Perhaps all we are doing is asking for an experienced manager to defend and preserve the status that MAF has provided the wherewithal to achieve......?

All, I think Grandad is saying, is that the board which is controlled by Mr Fayed need to open the purse strings if we want to stay in this league and even more so if we want to progress! Are you seriously trying to say that Jol isn't an experienced manager fp.gif

If you read my post, I am actually referring to Jol as the experienced manager............

.......Does that mean you've given up on him already, and are looking towards having the next one?

Blimey, you 'aving a Larf, read my posts, I'm sick to death of all these anti Jol posts! Ok, I apologise if I misinterpreted your post but it doesn't read that way until you point it out! To me we need to back Jol and the team all the way as we did under Hodgson and we will come through this patch - no worries.

Sorry, but Fast Eddie left Fulham in 2011.

when the club finished the season in 8th place. I'll be thrilled with 15th this season.

Have you seen our upcoming fixtures FulhamMic?

Man City V Fulham      0pts
Fulham V West Ham    3pts
Fulham V Man Utd       1pts
Norwich V Fulham        1pts
Fulham V Stoke           3pts
Sunderland V Fulham    1pts
Fulham V Chelsea         1pts
Tottenham V Fulham     0pts

I can't see us getting a great deal of points out of the next 8 games. Possibly against West Ham and Stoke, even Norwich and Sunderland away are possibilities, but I doubt very much that we'll get anything out of the rest, if we display the form that we have recently. I hope that I will be completely wrong about this, but I simply do not have the faith anymore.

Call me optimistic, but I see at least ten points here.

After 12 out of an easier 14 games???? No signs of improvement?
