Woolly Mammoth

It's time Fulham peeled the barbwire off their fat wallet, and get this man back in a Fulham kit, before another club hijacks the deal. 💷💷💰💰
Its not the man in the fight, it's the fight in the man.  🐘

Never forget your Roots.

I said before we are in the driving seat with Mitro he wants to come here, Newcastle can except a bid of 25m from somewhere else but if the player doesn't agree terms he doesn't go. Fulham and Mitro know this and its a waiting game for Newcastle to buckle. Newcastle need the funds for transfer we know this. Newcastle need to sell to buy

Milo

Do you think Newcastle will agree a deal pre- the Serbia/Brazil game?

Looks increasingly likely Serbia are going out... chances are Mitro won't get a sniff in the Brazil game... has his value peaked?

Don't know about not getting a sniff, Brazil haven't been that great in my book, not one outstanding team have I seen yet except maybe Belgium.

Belgium have been up against arguably the worst two teams in the tournament so far though.

Carborundum

A deal agreed, but without agreement on the price is a deal not agreed.

I have been wondering whether there was an agreement that Fulham have an option to buy, at an agreed price, on 1 July and that the only thing that could prevent us exercising it is a significant injury to the player.  Probably not, but just possibly so.

Mitrovic knows he's going to look as good as he can in our system.  That must be a big draw card.

Tunisia were not that bad and Belgium still had their way with them.  They look like good things to win the whole thing to me.

As far as new signing are concerned - that one I'm most anxious to hear about is that SJ has signed a new contract and will be with us for the next season because it cannot have gone unnoticed that the last time he guided a club to the PL he promptly left because their sense of direction did not coincide with his.
[/quote]

SJ left Watford because he didn't feel the owner wanted him or had the same desire to improve the team. Which in my book is a pretty good reason to quit. Add to that, the fact he walked away from the tag "Premiership manager."
I think it's safe to assume he's pretty driven and has ample belief in himself and his abilities. Which can't be easy to manage but I think Mr Khan is up to the task. I'm sure like you and me he's well aware of Slavisa's massive contribution to getting Fulham in the Premiership.

Apparently Galatasaray made official 25.000.000e bid for A.Mitrovic, found info in reliable SER sport webnews portal, they were rarely wrong, however it says in the text that Mitrovic accepting Galatasaray transfer is very unlikely as he already said earlier he has no intentions of playing in Turkey atm when loan offers were made and interest in him was much lower. Even if true (it probably is) and Mitro rejects that move, could it fire up Newcastle's greed in asking price for Mitrovic? oO

Mike Ashley is not particularly famous by being a modest and reasonable guy and Benitez wants money to buy at least 3 more Joselus.

€25 million is about £22 million. Not a huge bid given the kinds of figures that have been stated before.

Work is being done behind the scenes I am confident that we will be in a good place come Crystal Palace

Exactly what is being done behind the scenes?

If everyone knew exactly what was being done behind the scenes, it wouldn't be behind the scenes, would it?

Which is why I am asking MrFFC how he can make such a categorical assertion.

I think it's a lot safer of assumption to think we're working on making deals happen than thinking we'll start against Palace with a team of Bettinelli; Christie, Djalo, Ream, Sessegnon; McDonald, Cairney, Johansen; AK47, Fonte, Ayite.

Well TC is on holiday with Jack Grealish based on his Instagram account, who knows if he's doing a sales pitch??

Strange couple of players to holiday together seeing as they've never played with eachother.

I'd be a fan of Grealish if he was in a Fulham jersey. Until that day he's still a villian

If that is the team that starts against Palace , add Odoi and you have the team that will have to soldier on until January.

I think the media rate Grealish far higher than the managers.  Would think it's extremely unlikely he would join us.

Everton Offer €13.2m For Croatia International But Will Have To Increase Bid To €18m To Prize Away Star Defender, Fulham & West Ham Also In Race

Besiktas defender Domagoj Vida has been closely linked with a move to the Premier League.

Turkish-Football reported Everton interest in the 29-year-old centre-back last week.

Since then a lot has changed.

Fanatik then went onto report that the Toffees made a €13.2 million offer for the centre-back.

Fotomac are now reporting that Besiktas have increased their valuation to €18 million.

Per the source, West Ham and Fulham are also in the race for the powerful defender.

The Istanbul based outfit increased their asking price for Vida after an impressive run of form in the World Cup.

The report claims that Besiktas will reject all offers that do not match their new price tag.

Vida started in the victories over Argentina and Nigeria, helping his side keep a clean sheet in both games.

The Black Eagles signed Vida on a free transfer from Dynamo Kiev in January but are prepared to sell the centre-back for the right price.

Vida has another four-years remaining on his Besiktas contract but has not ruled out a summer exit.

"All I am focused on right now is the World Cup, I will make a decision regarding my future one the tournament is over. After Russia I will take a look at the offers," Vida was quoted as saying by Turkish-Football.

Vida has two goals in 61 international caps for the Croatia national side.

Croatia have already booked a place in the World Cup Last 16.

I'm sure that TC's girlfriend won't let them play with each other whilst on holiday!
