Silva has done an excellent job, and probably taken us as far as he can at this point. Promotion, Established back in Premier Leagueg - but whenever it comes to commitment it's a grey area. He's never been super happy with how the club handles budgets and transfers etc either.

I'd for one, want to keep him - but I think his stock has risen a lot last few years and his career is back on track, and given no update on him or Wilson, it feels like the writing is on the wall with the vacancies that are available end of this season.

Lets be honest, Silva is looking to move on, if was staying he would have signed up by now.

He may not have a particular club already lined up and even if he hasn't the club should see this as an opportunity to make a change and progress.

We may not have brought in all the players he wanted in recent seasons but enough money has been spent to create a better performing team by this season, instead we are going backwards.

Its not unrealistic for Fulham supporters to want the club to establish itself in the PL and then challenge for Europe, many others have done this while we have not.

I don't see any improved teamwork and tactics since we rejoined the PL!

We can still match our best ever points in a season, and that is going backwards??

I'm super optimistic, but that comment is plain silly Mr Cookie.

If it were down to the Chelsea fans and after what's gone there recently I would imagine the owners will take that on board rather than alienate them further then Marco is not getting that gig!

A few days off? Apparently we still have the slightest chance of getting into Europe. Why are we having a small break when there's only two more matches in the season?

Well, if he went from Saturday to today that's 3 days. I definitely don't, but I'm not managing a hundred million pound business that could make or lose out on millions of £ based on the performance of the next two weeks (league placement). He already gets enough off days during the international breaks and summer.

How has his stock risen? We've not made Europe, we've not set the world alight in any of the domestic cups. If anything all Silva has done is shown he is a mid table prem manager who runs out of ideas in March. He doesn't bring youth through, he sticks with the same players week in week out regardless of form and his team selections and subs have been baffling. I really don't see any bigger team wanting him. I can't imagine Bournemouth or Palace fans being ecstatic if he were appointed to either one of those jobs.

A manager that has been out of the game for 1.5 years (for whatever reason) takes over a yo-yo club in the Championship, gets promoted by winning the league and leads that club to comfortable mid-table finishes the next four years. In addition to that, he takes that club to two FA Cup quarter-finals (for the first time since 2010) and to a League Cup quarter-final (for the first time since 2005) and a semi-final (for the first time ever).

Not only has his stock risen, but it's only natural that he will have offers from bigger clubs than us. Unless you only regard as bigger clubs the 9-10 teams that might finish above us on the league.

For what I've seen last few months,I don't think he has.

It's because he's leaving Fulham.

It's a shame because Ireaola at Bournemouth is still getting his players to run through brick walls for him even though he's leaving.
The Spaniard also recruited some really decent players as well. Fulham need a re-set otherwise next season isn't looking good.

this is the moment to see how far the owners have learnt re picking managers to improve the teams performances or go back to the previous quality of managers, head coaches as now the riverside completed being a championship team will lessen the income into our great club, it's a shame that Marco has lost interest.

But who are these bigger clubs? It won't be Liverpool, ManUre, Arsenal, Real Madrid, Aston Villa to name a few.  Chelsea doubt the fans would accept that, Spurs? If Silva was as good as some people think he is he would have been taken a long time ago but he's still here. And he may well sign a contract because no one else wants him.
