Their squad is toxic; they refused to follow instructions from Xabi Alonso as well this season, probably why Real have gone for Mourinho because he will go psycho on them and get rid if they don't listen to him. The job is/was a poisoned chalice so I don't think he can be judged too harshly, a bit like how Xabi's stock hasn't dropped at all despite failing there as well

Agree with you on that. But peoples major doubts about McKenna was his lack of Premier League experience (or bad Premier League experience) but Arbeloa has got 28 senior matches as a manager under his belt

Weve seen how former players coming in as managers, getting top jobs way too early in their managerial career and failing.

I just dont see why Arbeloa would be a suitable candidates other than the fact that he has managed Real Madrid - a job he got because he was already at the club and Perez likes him.

As Ive mentioned other times: if we are going to gamble, there are other managers (not yet with " big names") out there with more experience that are also more exciting and has actually achieved things

Exactly, there's a reason why Mbappé gets called a "dictator" on social media, it's because he seems to be the one calling the shots not the manager.

Arbeloa another massive upgrade on Silva, would be a fantastic addition. Can see him shaking the squad up and brining in some decent signings to help with the march to Europe

I put details of Arbeloa's tactics into AI. Interesting that the greatest concern was that he doesn't have a Plan B. Real to Fulham means that you have to modify your tactics. I think that I would want a manager with greater experience and particularly experience of the Premier League, but sometimes you have to roll the dice and take a chance. Sounds like he favours a more aggressive 4 3 3, but we will see if he takes the job. Easy to play aggressively when you have one of the best couple of teams in your league.
