McKenna seems to be bookies favourite. I'm a bit unsure about him, would prefer a bigger name but what do people think?

Quote from: Neutral Zone Ultra on June 02, 2026, 12:45:12 PMWhy would Glasner leave Palace (with Europa League) to come to us with no European football at all? Can't see that happening for one second.

Of the bookies list, Knutsen McKenna or Terzic are my preferred options.

Too slow for Terzic he signed for Bilbao

Maybe learnt from his season with Ipswich last time in Premier.
Quite a few managers have had good success in the league, without having previously managed in it.
Sir Alex rates him highly.

Edin Terzic   14/1   TalkSport Bet

Surprised to see Slot and Glasner lower than Rosenior.

Slot won the prem, won the eredivisie. Rosenior is an inexperienced coach with limited Ligue 1 experience and also has a Fulham connection. Cant see us  ever getting Slot but can actually see why Rosenior would come to us.

I can't get excited about McKenna. If that's the best we can do then we're in for a rough season.

Perhaps because they're unlikely to want to come, aiming higher

He has an impressive record from the Championship tbf. But yeah, looking at how Bournemouth signed Rose before they secured European football signals to me that teams in our bracket of the league can attracted bigger names than McKenna.

There are really good and exciting managers out there that would love a shot at the prem

Quote from: General on June 02, 2026, 01:08:28 PMWhat happened to Felipe Luis - thought he was an interesting Candidate?
Gone to AS Monaco.

The best candidates are going off the market quickly and our inability to handle the Silva situation has left us very exposed to a rushed and ultimately poor appointment.

Yeah, but Roseniors stock right now isnt higher than Slots or Glasners, quite the opposite. So why its more likely that we could get Slot or Glasners (according to the odds) is beyond me

That's a shocking list apart from Glasner, who I think will go elsewhere anyway.

I must admit - sounds like a better option than most of the names on the bookies lists.

I tend to agree. I'm quite negative about most of the names - maybe neutral toward McKenna. Unlikely that Arne Slot would come us - not least due to the fact his family don't want to relocate to the UK.

I'm especially negative about McKenna. Slot is obviously a pipe dream which is why I didn't mention him.

If we're to believe the money offered to Silva to stay was true then Glasner would double his wages. A bit of a project maybe? Can't see him coming but think it would be a massive coup if we could entice him

God help us. Scott Parker at 6-1 and Rosenior not far behind. I'm really hoping its neither of those.
