Quote from: Angus Telford on June 02, 2026, 06:33:50 PMMcKenna would be underwhelming. Has a Neil Warnock CV at this point - great in League One or the Championship but has done nothing at the top level.

I don't think he fits the Khans' profile anyway, we've generally been pretty "exotic" with our managerial recruitment.

If you read the Ipswich forum they can't conceive of why he'd leave them for us.

They think we're dead certs for relegation next season.

As someone who lives in Norwich, who cares what those Ipswich muppets think? 🤣
I live 25 minutes from ipswich and I dont care about them either!

Quote from: Jules on June 02, 2026, 05:52:24 PMGod help us. Scott Parker at 6-1 and Rosenior not far behind. I'm really hoping its neither of those.
Surely Khan knows Parker would be a PR disaster? Surely?

Can't be either of them. They definitely wouldn't align with the SK quote surlyc mentioned!

"We will soon appoint a new leader... who will meet the... expectations of our fans throughout the world."

I don't really, I was scanning the forum to see what they thought of McKenna.

"We will soon appoint a new leader in a timely but deliberate manner, who will meet the standards of our Club and expectations of our fans throughout the world"

Does anyone else think that hints to someone at the world cup?

SK employs a clever wordsmith.  It's my hopes I want met.....after all these years watching football.....expectations, rational expectations, sit some way beneath my hopes.

Wouldn't surprise me if his clever wordsmith is Geoff Pruce sat in front of ChatGPT

Surely Rosenior would lose his payoff?

Jules

Have read McKenna has an £8m release clause. I cant see us paying that and its not worth it.

Don't want McKenna, Rosenoir or Thomas Frank

Not sure who I want tbh

Kingjay81

Definitely do not want Frank or Rosenior.

With Frank, all it will take is a run of a few bad results and the fans would be all over the ex Brentford link and would turn toxic quickly. Other managers would have a longer grace period I reckon.

Slot and Glasner not even worth talking about. No chance they'd come to us.

McKenna interests me. Think he's got something about him but other than that not got a clue.

I'm kinda hoping that Silva has helped the club with his own shortlist of who he thinks is out there that could continue and improve on what he's created.

what will come first naming the new manager, first signing or releasing next seasons kit

The refurbishment of the Hammy end bogs?  ::candle::

Amazing that when people were calling for MS to go mid season given the poor form there were so many posters replying with "So who would you suggest" and talking as if there was no one.

Seems everyone has an option and lots in the bookies odds list, who'd of thought!

I'm struggling to imagine what toxic would look like at the Cottage, particularly in the Lower Riverside where we sit?

All three are underwhelming and none an upgrade on Marco

I´m hoping Shad can work his charm on Poch and bring him to the Cottage. Probably cottage pie in the sky though...

I was one of those people and this list does nothing for me.

Now we've lost probably our best ever manager, and are about to lose half our goals from the squad on free transfers... I'm not feeling great about next season.

Of course maybe they can pull off a coup and get someone outside the three or four "expected" candidates, I just highly doubt it.
