Expecting Frank but hoping for someone more exciting.

Fulham 1879

#41
Managers like Poch aren't realistic options. I expect Frank, but a week ago I posted that I wanted Knutsen so pleased the bookies give him a chance. Knutsen has achieved significant domestic and European success, securing four Eliteserien titles (2020, 2021, 2023, 2024) and leading the club to the last 16 of the Champions League, their first-ever European group stage appearance in the 2021–22 UEFA Conference League, as well as the semi-finals of the 2024–25 UEFA Europa League. Bodo only has a population of 42,000 so impressive stuff.

Yamus

I wonder if that what Shad was talking to Poch about when they were over here.

McKenna would be a massive step backwards, and that's saying something given Silvas bar. Get Frank in now, Slot is my second choice but cant see that one happening.

demeant0r

It'll be someone completely unexpected as always.

"We will soon appoint a new leader... who will meet the...  expectations of our fans throughout the world." Shad Khan quote. You cant say that and appoint Frank.

I think demeant0r is right, it will be a left field pick. Who expected Silva 5 years ago?

Why is Mckenna a big step backwards?
Good coach at Man Utd,done well at his first club, and Fergie rates him highly.

We don't do predictable outside of the pitch. Who hear predicted we'd re-sign Sess or knew much about Kevin when he were rumoured to sign him or predicted we'd sign Bobb or even that Berbatov would play for us?

If the Real thing goes belly up for Mourinho after the Presidential electon, will he stay at Benfica, and where might that leave Marco? Out of work I assume

Don't care really

Angus Telford

McKenna would be underwhelming. Has a Neil Warnock CV at this point - great in League One or the Championship but has done nothing at the top level.

I don't think he fits the Khans' profile anyway, we've generally been pretty "exotic" with our managerial recruitment.

If you read the Ipswich forum they can't conceive of why he'd leave them for us.

They think we're dead certs for relegation next season.

As someone who lives in Norwich, who cares what those Ipswich muppets think? 🤣

Maybe we'll do a swap. Marco goes to Benfica and Mourinho comes to us.

His son played for our academy after all, so he has a connection to us!
