Weird Frank is still second favourite after ruling himself out on Thursday!

Fulham 1879

Quote from: @jolslover on June 06, 2026, 09:36:51 PMAmorim would be my pick so far out of the names we have been linked with, Did an unreal job at Sporting winning their first league title in 19 years and then winning the league title again. United spell wasn't the best but otherwise we wouldn't be in with a chance of getting him.

Also United he played 523 .. so still playing with two wingers in Mbuemo/Cunha... So Bobb and Kevin would still be central to our future plans

I would be completely against us playing 5 defenders every match...

Five at the back plus Bergeball and Leno. That's 7 of 11 players who are defenders and who won't score in a month of Sundays. Do we really want to watch that?

I'm sometimes not even happy with the footballing default formation of 4-2-3-1 because moving one striker to midefield makes the game less attacking. So imagine moving moving one striker to defense instead...

McKenna 6/4
Fat Frank 7/1
Parker 8/1
Rosenior 10/1
Slot 10/1 for some reason even though he's ruled it out.

Those are the favourites.

Depressing.

I could put £50 on Felix Magath and that would probably be enough for him to show up as 10/1 to be next manager. The odds are meaningless.

You're right, the lack of movement in the odds shows that the bookies don't have a clue as to what is happening. Let's hope that means we have other targets and are making our moves discretely rather than the exec team not knowing where to direct their search. Khans end of season notes stating that they have had time to prepare for this moment look a tad hollow right now but it may be a case that we already have a verbal agreement in place with someone but contractually / workd cup exploits prohibits further news at this time.

I doubt TK has a scooby as to what's going on!

Well, I wouldn't call him weird, a little strange looking, perhaps.
Logical is just in the name - don't expect it has anything to do with my thought process, because I AM the man who sold the world.

Because the bookies haven't a clue outside the top 2, maybe.

Fulham 1879

If Parker becomes manager again I'll slit my ankles as well as my wrists.

SimonDaviesEnjoyer

O'Neill now 10/1, Rosenior has dropped back to 16/1.

Aside from that, not much change among the "front runners" (i.e. pure guesswork).

Except Diop just scored last game and Robinson scored last night for US. The whole point of 5atb is the wing backs have much more free range to attack and push up to the point of becoming midfielders.

Also there isnt usually the need to have 1 Berge type DM in a 5atb system

5atb is a commonly used system all round Europe and doesn't equal a lack of scoring goals

No matter who it is think this time next week we will have a new manager/ head coach.
