Goalkeeping 101 - The biggest fear for me is that he's lost that yard of pace and mobility. Something that allowed him to react and make the saves he used too.

Andersen not reading the play on his run back was a fault too - Isidor peeled off him so easily with a slightly angled run while Andersen running straight line.

I totally agree. As soon as he drops on the ball the attack ends.

It was a good read by Leno to go out to the ball, as he could see Andersen was never getting there. Going with his feet was a mistake.

Eh, it was a read I expect any PL level GK to make, the problem for me wasn't just that he went with his feet, it was that he was slow to get out. Frankly, I think his lack of pace in getting out to the ball is WHY he went with his feet. For me Leno has slowed down the past few years...whether that's in his decision making or in reacting to shots (and the stats back that up).

Well, they're a club with legit CL ambitions who have limitless money and want to strengthen every position in pursuit of that CL goal. Emiliano Martinez became available and he is an upgrade on Robert Sanchez. As for comparing Leno to Sanchez, over the past two seasons Sanchez has prevented +3.8 goals, Leno -10.7 (Martinez +4.7).

Then offer some interpretation for us as to why Sanchez is not an improvement over Leno (even though shot stopping stats show he is a VASTLY better shot stopper). Look, I actually think Sanchez makes more boneheaded decisions than Leno, those "errors leading to goals" that the shot stopping stats don't necessarily capture, but if I'm choosing between the two that's a tradeoff I'd be willing to make for the vastly superior shot stopping.

Yes it looks like Leno was worried he would get a kick in his face so went "safe" with his feet. What I didn't like was Joachim Andersen in the centre circle playing the wide Sunderland man onside at the start of the move - sheer carelessness.
