Given the way he's climbed in the world of football, me too.
There's only one Emma's burger stand.

It's not over until Jan Molby sings.

I agree, a masterminded Chelsea success. Well done to all of them.

Yeah, whatever.  :016:
English by birth, Fulham by the grace of God.

For a small team in Fulham, they did well. Fair play to them

Given that he's s dead ringer for coronation streets Gail Platt, I thought he'd be just your type.

Frankie-Peter Taylor

It was so jammy though wasn't it? Should Bayern and Barca finished more clinically Chelsea would have been gone a long time ago.

OtterFFC

Feel so sorry Bayern, much the better side, but fair play to Chelsea beating Barcelona and coming off the ropes tonight

Don't get me wrong, I'm not discrediting there win but they played very anti football, just sat back the majority of the game. This will only encourage other teams to adopt a similar approach which I think is negative for the game.

They knew their weaknesses.

sipwell

I am glad I did not watch the game. Based on the statistics, Bayern constantly in attack and Chelsea constantly defending. Apparently the days in which a willingness to play football have gone. Just build a trench, place 10 men in front of the goalkeeper and sit still for 90 minutes.
No forum is complete without a silly Belgian participating!

Don't agree Jack. Chelsea were negative, as they were against Barca, but both teams had plenty of opportunities to win and didn't take them. In that respect anti-football winning the CL was a bit of a fluke and will soon be forgotten.

Chelsea remain far from being the team their supporters think they are and next season I am sure that normality will be resumed!
