Lazy journalism surely? Contracts doesn't even end until the 30th of June, and I very much doubt Fulham would be letting the Pog and Murphy go with at least a month left to get to terms with them.

I bet anyone on here £10 that Murphy will be here next season.

I'll take that bet and happily lose to be honest

With everyone as our witness - deal!

And when I lose I will boast that my tenner kept Danny at the club.

Ledley King just relased by Spurs according to BBC News 2 minutes ago

The Equalizer

Emile Heskey's available. Anyone fancy that one? yee-haw!
"We won't look back on this season with regret, but with pride. Because we won what many teams fail to win in a lifetime – an unprecedented degree of respect and support that saw British football fans unite and cheer on Fulham with heart." Mohammed Al Fayed, May 2010

Its just an official list of players who's contracts are up. Ledley King is on it as well so do people think he's leaving Spurs?

on wikipedia and google he is stated as a free agent having been released

Andy_M

I'm now taking this news with a big pinch of salt as some player on that list haven't been released i.e. Paul Scholes.

So I guess we will see when the official announcement is made by the club.

Not all contracts run to end of June - just most,

Its an official list of free agents.

If they are a free agent and no longer under contract to the club then surely they are no longer FFC in any respect?

Jack Fulham

Pretty sure clubs can retain players out of contract players unless they choose to leave or the club release them.

AlFayedsChequebook

How about we all wait until the club officially announces who has left the club?

Is that not usually the best procedure - 'its not official until on the ffc website'

I think they can retain their registration.

Absolutely.

Or a donation to the running of this site.

Released or available is two different things. This list has a lot of players who are available because the FA's redtape says so. But Scholes is on it for a start and he's been offered/signed a one year extension.
Anyway Rodellaga and Guthrie would be two tidy pickups.

A donation to this site would be good.. I'll up the PayPal account limit as I can see it being a rather big one ;-)

craig10

will defo wait until anything is released officaily as Ledley King said just today he will decide what he will do during pre season after being offered several roles at the club including as a player

b+w geezer

Out of contract means no wages, but presumably they all have enough in the bank to feed the kids for a while. Can only hope, in the Murphy case anyway, it's just that everyone's still on holiday. Any resolution will presumably be soon if it all.

I think it's a list of players whose contracts will be up this summer, not a list of released free agents (ie the club has declined the oportunity to extend the contract or the player has rejected the final contract offer from the club). Why else would the likes of Jääskeläinen, who Bolton wants to keep, and Scholes, who has actually already signed an one-year-extension, be on that list?

In other words, this list reveals nothing new. Just what we've all known for some time, that the mentioned players contracts will be up this summer unless new deals are struck.

Paul Scholes isn't on the list.

The website somebody posted was the all the players who have been on a free (Scholes was on a free at one point then Fergy gave him another contract) on the sky sports TV channel it labels all the free players.

I will post the list which Sky Sports gave in the topic.
