I thought Douglas had turned us down already? Thought I read something a couple of weeks ago?

Newcastle have been after him all summer and reportedly made a contract offer.

has anyone picked up on the erroneous use of the word "its" instead of "it's" where the expression "it is" is abbreviated twice in the same post, as well?

correcting another user's grammar, spelling or punctuation is cheap and wrong (like supporting qpr). fact.

A wondeful little collector's piece of journalism, which, in just 18 lines manages to say at least four different things, some of them totally contradictory.

And thus are we kept informed.

I don't see any contradictions. Just one typing error, suggesting the fee is 5.5 million Sterling when it's actually  5.5 million Euro's.

"Fulham bid accepted" and "He went on to state that no bid has been placed from either Premier League club"

I, personally, find these two statements contradictory. But, perhaps, our understanding of the word "contradictory" differs in some essential.

The rumours that the bid had been accepted didn't come from the chairman though. He said one thing they said another.
