I read an article the other day saying that QPR had said the cheque book is closed and they are to bring on the talent they have.... No wonder why he's left

If they ever got hold of a manager who actually cared about building a team there rather than proving that he can spend all of Fernandes' money, they might actually amount to something. As it is though, I doubt there are any available managers who can pull that group together in time to save the club. And, they are as close to truly needing to be saved - not just from relegation - as a team can get IMO. Backed up to the edge of a cliff.

I think Howe is too sensible to take on a situation like that particularly as the two clubs might well be swapping places.

That situation needs an experienced, strong manager like a Pulis.

He has quit because the January window has closed and he obviously can't see the squad he has staying up so doesn't want his 'reputation' tarnished. What a joke, if it was anyone but QPR I would feel bad for them.

Very selfish on 'arry's part. Like said above he didn't get what he wanted in the window and doesn't feel capable of keeping this squad up. Leaving now prevents him being blamed if they are relegated.

All this proves is that he is one of the most over rated managers ever to grace the game. The transfer window has always been the Redknapp show, this mystical wheeler dealer who pulls rabbits out of hats on deadline day every year. What a load of old tosh. Have a look at what he spent at pompey, and now look at the position it's left them in. He did nothing at Southampton and took them down with a wimper and then returned to pompey. The guy is very selfish with no loyalty or respect for any club he's managed, he's only in it for himself.

What about the money and amount of players brought into Qpr? A club he has managed for 2 years now with 4 transfer windows before this one to build his own squad. He has just resigned for not getting his way yesterday, surely the question should be why wasn't his squad good enough in the first place and more importantly why have they got 0 points on the road in February?

I dislike Qpr more than many clubs, probably any club in fact but on this particular scenario I think Redknapp is a muppet. Never liked the man and this has proved how spineless and limited his management skills are.
