This is pretty much the first, good source on that Jed Wallace rumour (and basically any other Fulham related rumour so far). This is the type of sources I generally go by (among other journalists), so this actullay feels real now

Fulham lead Wolves in the race to sign Portsmouth midfielder Jed Wallace. #ffc #wwfc #Pompey http://hereisthecity.com/en-gb/2015/05/19/fulham-winning-the-race-for-wallace/ ...

Although Pete (and Sky) isnt the source in this case, which is a bit weird. But still...Him tweeting about it still is promising

Jed Wallace is the type of signing we should be making. Young talented and ambitious. Be glad to have him on board.

Rigg has bottled the Kit decision seemingly.

Rigg has bottled the Kit decision seemingly.

Rigg has stated that he won't make the same mistakes as he did at QPR, chopping and changing managers. It's Rigg's decision to keep Kit, and has said he'll continue to build the foundations at FFC and then make the changes (if necessary). In all, I think Rigg is just realistic and knows that we ain't going to bounce back and survive in the Prem in our current state.

If the temporary pain of a few years is needed to repair the foundation and build sustainable success....then it is worth it.  Wallace would be a good piece of business.  If we sign Wallace, keep LVC, and add a handful of positive signings I am getting pretty excited about the long term direction of the club.

Seems we are missing out on Wallace

Depends which news report you believe - given the reliability of journalists he is probably going to end up in the A League
It could be better but it's real life and not a fantasy

Wolves and Fulham are close to agreeing a deal that will see Kevin McDonald and Carl Ikeme join Fulham and Ross McCormack move to Molineux. Wolves will also pay £2m to Fulham as well. Expect this deal to go through in early June.

Has to be a joke?

Like how we missed out on Stekelenburg, Berbatov, Mitroglou, Cassasola, Parker.  All of those were highly sought by bigger clubs than us, yet we still got them.  How they did is irrelevant, they chose us over others when the transfers were being done.

Stekelenburg - Couldn't give a toss about Fulham, came for the money, went out on loan to Monaco, won't play for us ever again.

Berbatov - Class, but jumped ship as soon as the going got tough, was never a team player. Again, couldn't give a flying toss about Fulham, he came because of Jol.

Mitrogolou - Lets not even go there

Cassasola - Don't know why you've even brought this lad up?

Parker - at 34 he's always going to come to Fulham for 55k a week.

I love this time of year. Every bog standard heap of a player who goes anywhere will have a thread on here. "Jack Lovingstock to Middlesbrough, get da finger out Khan" etc

Exactly what GTM said, irrelevant how they did, the fact is they chose Fulham when they could have gone elsewhere. Parker could have gone to QPHa last season, but chose to stay, he wouldn't have been on any less there than his is here.

Wallace hasn't signed for anyone else, let alone shone, so if we're complaining about losing a player we haven't lost (nor had) you can only look at the potential of the transfers.

Stekelenburg was a WC Final goalkeeper a couple of years before we got him, Berbatov was PL top scorer in his last full season at Man Utd and we stole him from both Fiorentina and Juve, Mitroglou was scoring goals for fun in the Champions League and there was real consternation that West Ham my nick him away from us in the final hours, Cassasola was looked at by Barca, Real and one of the Milan clubs, and when we signed Parker it was seen as showing them upstarts at Loftus Road what for...

No comment was made in the original post about players doing well, just us missing out on them as usual.

Nothing to add to some of these bat s____ rumors but I do like hearing what LVC said about the club.  Love that guy, great attitude and we all know he's skilled.  Hope he finds the pitch more this season

Whatever you might think of him as a player, Bryan comes across as one hell of a nice guy.

Far less talented players than him would have thrown the toys out of the pram long before now.

I know he is getting well paid, I know it is partly down to his weaknesses that teams haven't been falling over themselves to sign him and I know that this extension is probably just a device so that we (quite rightly) realize a bit of dough on, him but he has always conducted himself in a professional, dignified fashion. Good luck to him, whatever might lie ahead.

+1

He seems very proffessional in the way he is dealing with Fulham tbh.

I saw him at a restaurant in New Malden with his family a while back .
Lovely feller.
Siblings, let us not be down on it.
One total catastrophe like this...is just the beginning !
