make of this what you will, but sarah brookes took a photo of the cottage today, so i replied with are you showing new players what they will be playing on if they sign for us.   she favorited my tweet. so maybe a signing is imminent or maybe not

Probably not, she favourited pretty much every other reply to it too.

Do you know something we don't know?

CHRIS MARTIN IS SO BAD,  WE NOW PRAISE HIM FOR MAKING A RUN.

mike_corkcity12

They were linked with him in January and he only has 2 years left.

so we can sell him next year then. we would be dumb to lose roberts and lvc in one window.

If we sell LVC I give up - it will show that we have no ambition whatsoever!

I don't think we will but sometimes players put clubs into positions and the best option is to sell. Football these days is such a players orientated game ever since the bosman ruling, so can be so hard for the clubs

Sterling is a prime example. Liverpool wanted him to stay,  he wanted to go,  they got a great offer and he left.
No matter how much you want to keep a player,  if they want to go and you get an offer that's good,  it's hard to turn down. Even for the biggest clubs.

MJG these twitter rumours about Dunk are they any where near true? I know the deal was off a while back so just curious

LVC to Villa to replace Delph?

Thought that he'd stated that he was staying. Or, am I thinking of someone else?

He did. But there've been photos taken of him arriving at City's premises for a medical... He's such a flake.

All honesty have no idea. Someone did say something to me earlier which intimated something was happening,  but apart from that nowt to go on.

I can't remember if he's signed an extension with us or not. So, I'm unsure of his contract situation. But, you can't blame a kid with his abilities getting his head turned by PL interest. And if his head is turned and he truly wants to leave, then ambition has nothing to do with selling.

If any player does not want to be a part of the process, then that player is expendable. And once he becomes expendable, the club should maximize their ROI. And, in this theoretical situation, that would speak more toward the club's ambition than keeping an unhappy player.

Still, seems like a stab in the dark suggesting that LVC would be replacing Delph.
