Wife has a BMW X3 2005 with 110,000 miles.  I have a Toyota sequoia 2008 with 180,000 miles. It's usually full of football equipment.  We like to travel and usually drive.  We are also getting ready to add a new used car for my daughter.  Not sure what we will get her but will consider a horse and cart though she may not think to stylish.
Anyone can blend into the crowd.  How will you standout when it counts?

The Equalizer

Jaguar F-Type coupe in orange.

The Rock

VW Jetta, but the GLI "Wolfsburg" Edition with all the bells and whistles, which is the best car I have ever had.

Your reply should be below the last 'quote' in brackets. Not that it matters that much as we can all understand what we are replying to.
The above IS NOT A LEGAL DOCUMENT. It is an opinion.

We may yet hear the horse talk.

I can stand my own despair but not others hope

I had a new Tuscan in 2002. Sold it in 2003. Spent more days off the road than on it.
Now I have a black, dirty, Golf GTI with intergalactic mileage.
Hoping to chg to a Cayman this summer (not a new one).

Back in England I drive a 21 year old Ford Escort Elegance. Only just over 60K on the clock and runs like a dream. Only use it for driving to BEX station and back and the occasional shopping trip/recycling run. Will keep that car until it dies (probably last longer than me !!)  :021:

Egham White

Drive a Fiat Punto 1.2 ,3 years old 44000 on the clock

Far too many cars on the road, one family in my street,Him, Her, Son
Daughter all got one.Concreted over their lovely garden to park them, and another
stuck on the pavement outside blocking people getting by with prams
and so on...
Ive Still got my 1968 Scooter Vespa Sprint 150..Ride on Baby.

Agreed! Parking is a nightmare down my road, especially now my daughter (somehow) passed her test. We are always shuffling our cars around on the drive / opposite the house.
Given the time, I'd much rather take 30 mins to walk to the town than drive, or hop on the mountain bike to get about but that's more a summer pursuit.

Dont blame Summer Leon, you can walk or cycle all year round.
And you will feel better for it..

Oh, I'm always walking about in all seasons. That doesn't bother me, It's just the bike that gets dusted off in the summer. Less and less these days unfortunately but unless it's a pub run, I do try and get some nice countryside rides in close season (less kids footy tournaments as they get older thank god)

Forever Fulham

A 2000 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 4x4 pickup with full bed.  137,000 mi.  Been driving it since my father in law died, and I ended up with it.  It's a beast.  I can't get it into my garage.  Gas mileage not good, but since I didn't have to pay for it, I think I'll carry on for now.  The wife (2010 Lexus 350 sedan)  implores me to get rid of it and buy a nice late model SUV, but I don't want to spend the money.  The truck works just fine.  It even has the "cold weather package" which includes, among other things, an electric plug for keeping the oil and block warm in the winter.  Of no use to me in North Texas of course.  But I hope to have a lake house up north one day, so the truck stays.
