I honestly don't care what the formation is, as long as we never ever ever ever see a god damn defender in midfield again.
CHRIS MARTIN IS SO BAD,  WE NOW PRAISE HIM FOR MAKING A RUN.

How is the medical going? I don't follow twitter and every time I click on this thread tonight its all about formations.

As long as we drop the diamond and don't play Kavanagh in midfield I will go along with it

Supporting Fulham isn't about winning, it's about belonging

I hate to have made this a Ross McCormack post, but I do also think it's relevant to general conversation. As our talisman and our main goal scorer, we should be moulding with him in mind. It is a personal preference to have Ross in a deeper role, and after thinking about the 451, I do think that would be the best system with how our squad is taking place.

If McCormack can be the Berbatov-like focal point of our attack, with the likes of Tom Cairney and Lasse Vigen Christensen attacking from deep, with Ben Pringle and right sided winger stretching the pitch and getting plenty of quality deliveries into the box - then if not successful, it could certainly be entertaining.

As God The Mechanic stated, I do think we'd also need a pure defensive midfielder to glue it all together, whether that's Toumani Diagouraga, Ryan Tunnicliffe or someone we haven't heard about yet, I don't think we can go another season with Scott Parker as a mainstay.

Lets get back to Tom Cairney and be happy with another solid signing with a lot of skill, talent and endeavour that should slot in nicely! Then it's back to the defence!

Cairney/LVC/Hyndman/O'Hara/Tunniliffe/Parker

They would be alright options for central midfield

Great news! As others have stated, so far it looks like we mean business if these rumors and speculations bear fruit. Come on Fulham, become a title contender!
Someone once asked me, "Why Fulham?".
My response, "Well, lad, you just haven't seen the light yet"

if the sky sources are accurate then can we expect an announcement today? surely we wouldnt do a medical if terms were not agreed.

also any news on o'hara?
Every day is a Fulham day

3rd attempt to register!

Blackburn message board saying O'Hara is in Blackburn for talks, generally they don't seem to pleased about it.

@MattRhys63 - be warned, there will be a lot of nonsense

So then...can someone please spin this negatively!!!!
I can't tolerate this optimism and satisfaction with a signing!

jelmo

Think this is a very good signing for us. 3 players in already who could potentially walk straight into the first 11. A contrast to last summer when we just seemed to be getting in players who were backup quality only... Apart from Mccormack of course.

Now to strengthen the defence and replace Hugo. Maybe a replacement for Ruiz (to be honest... Id like to see Pat Roberts replace the Ruiz role but that seems unlikely to happen)

All in all... Its positive news!
