Where is the Motspur Park spy lurking in the bushes when you need him.

He's not around anymore. We loaned him out.

Actually. He's not around anymore. He was only on loan.

Have I entered a different Forum dimension in a parallel universe?

We can't afford china cups due to FFP.  These are on loan from Beijing Bexy FC China.

Its been a slow start in the championship compared to last year.

18 in first 11 days last year and 16 this year

Thats probably because the real promotion chasers did most of their business in the summer. Wolves have made one move but they are locked on for promotion so could spend big to lock that move and their relationship with Jorge Mendes makes them unique. The other real candidates: Derby, Boro did their business well in the summer and Pulis is still evaluating the squad. I dont think Cardiff, Preston or Bristol City will try and spend to get over the line so they will compete with us and Dirty Leeds for loans which tend to be back ended in the loan window.
Quark, strangeness and charm

Moult is unproven in English football, remember Shawn Hutchinson was a star defender in that league so goals for Motherwell are not necessarily a great predictor in the Championship. (Me having said that means he will definitely score against us next match against PNE). He is roginally from Stoke and has family there so Preston probably is a good move for him. I think Madine is one of a couple strikers Cardiff are looking including Grabban who we are also looking at.

What's happened to that guy who Cardiff got from lower leagues, Bogle?? How's that wonder kid getting on.

The best ever was Freddy Adu, next world beater, couldn't cut it in conference that boy

Out of them Id taken Oliveira, surely we can convince Norwich they dont need 8M but need to send him out on loan

This winter window really is wrong and needs some adjustment. We all concentrate on possible moves for a month but in reality all of the action takes place in the last week or so. Must be a nightmare for the coaches not knowing who will be in theis squad for the next few matches.

Read on one of the other forums that Sheffield Utd are interested Neeskens Kebano.

Fulham mull move for Norwich striker Oliveira
by DAN on JANUARY 13, 2018

Fulham are considering making a January move for Norwich City striker Nelson Oliveira, according to a report from the Sun this morning.

Slavisa Jokanovic has highlighted the addition of attacking reinforcements as a priority during the transfer window after Fulham's big money summer signing Rui Fonte has struggled for both form and fitness following his move from Braga. The Whites are keeping a close interest in Oliveira's availability, especially after the Canaries knocked back a bid believed to in the region of £8m for the Portuguese forward from Derby County.

Oliveira has been out of favour under new Norwich boss Daniel Farke despite starting the season with a late equaliser that earned the Canaries a point at Craven Cottage in August. The 26 year-old has scored eight times in 23 appearances for the Carrow Road outfit this term, finding the net on 18 occasions since his move from Benfica in August 2016.

Fulham won't be short of competition for the Portuguese international's services should they follow up their interest with a formal offer. It remains to be seen whether Derby will return with another bid, but Swansea City, where Oliveira spent six months on loan in 2015, are mulling a move to take the 6'1" striker back to the Liberty Stadium. Jokanovic is keen to add striking options to his squad as Fulham try and resurrect a promotion push in the second half of the season.

The Moose got one right then, the 8 mill offer by Derby.
Too much for someone who struggles to get in Norwich side.
