I wonder if the owner will deem to give us a few words of wisdom following the closing of the window?

Maybe through his reassuring words he can allow us mere mortals a small peek into how his quest to "do whatever it takes" is playing out as we approach the sharp end of the season?

Or maybe as the door slams shut the silence will be deafening!

Fernhurst

Gayle, Oliveria or Grabban will do today

OR ALL THREE!!
The atmosphere's fresh and the debate lively.

Riversider

Lewis Grabban is a mysterious one for me, Bournemouth had an option built in to his loan deal at Sunderland that they could recall him in January if they wanted to sell him,
This option they exercised right at the start of the January, and yet here we are on the final day and guess what, he's still a Bournemouth player !!
Surely he is going somewhere today.

Galatasary as well as Malaga in for Okaka. With the Hugill deal to Palace apparently ficticious, do hope he's still in contention - again a CF type striker which is something we don't have.
The Liam Moore rumour appears to have amounted to nothing - only hope that whoever arrives is someone SJ wants! Let the day unfold.

Palace/Hodgson are after a Norwegian striker as well, Alexander Sørloth. Big money involved.

Who really knows how many players we have bid for? You can´t sign someone if they don´t want to come, or their wage demands are too high or the fee is beyond our valuation. Give it a rest & chill. We all would want the positions we are lacking in filled but sometimes it just doesn´t all fall into place as we would wish.

Slimani going to Newcastle could mean that Gayle is available to move

Sky reporting Newcastle signing Islam Slimani, could free up Gayle!
Also BBC saying Dejageh to Forrest!
Hydenman to Sunderland looks on the cards as well.

Bracken White

Dejageh - not a position we need but really effective for us. Wish him well - hope not on Saturday, though!

There is not a snowballs chance in hell we sign Gayle on deadline day.

Seen a link on another forum that we may have signed Okaka.
We have offered him better wages than Malaga

Slimani to Newcastle - does that create an opening for us to get Gayle ?

Permanent then? I would assume we'd offer better wages as Malaga is looking nailed on for relegation. 13 points in 21 games.

Never get tired of watching this goal... and the celebration.  I love the guy in the crowd with the cigarette in his mouth shaking his fist.

Is the Malaga thing real or just an agent's ruse to get more from Fulham? As Tabby points out, why would he go to a team that is currently 1/4 (four to one ON) for relegation according to Paddy Power.

Last day - whilst we have released fringe players we are now a couple of injuries away from dropping out the play off chase.

Lets hope any additions today are not panic buys.... oh wait.....
