Why would we let a loan player go back on the last day of the window? Surely we could have done that weeks ago if he wasn't needed. In my view it's to open up a space for a new player.

He'd never get in the side for a start. Wouldn't want to see a real talent ruined like that. Although they do have youth team players buying £3.7m houses so at least he'd do well financially.

Also, how stupid would Khan jnr look if he did leave after him coming out publicly to say he's going nowhere.

I'd rather the likes of Tayo, Steven Sess and de la torre etc vying for a chance rather than waiting behind deadwood like Mollo, Madl, Soares and Graham. The 2 outgoing loans were arguably the best of the academy over the past few years but injuries hit them this year. You'd like to think this is make or break as both were out on loan last year too, and in George Williams, you'd like to think he'd be playing out of his skin for a contract with his first child on the way, wouldn't want to unnecessarily uproot an expectant mother!!😂

Whilst I agree with you we've been spoilt with the performances from Ryan Sessegnon who, at 17 is without doubt an exceptional player. The other youngsters need to be introduced gradually as they are all learning their craft, and we don't want to be in the situation we were in with Magath with 5 or 6 teenagers in the first XI getting bullied,
