Christie has been brilliant whenever I've seen him but there surely must be a reason why first Derby and now Boro have let him go?

Also kind of odd by us to bring in a good right back when Fredo has made that position his own. Why trade Boro's bench for ours?
However it would/will allow Odoi to only be needed in central defence and maybe left back, as opposed to the whole back four.

Scandal to have handed over 3-4m for a backup player who will not be good enough if we were to reach the premier league. He has literally been sold on and adequately replaced by 2 of our playoff rivals. I'm all for depth but that kind of money could be spent better elsewhere. Nice to have the old habit back of having an Irishman at rightback

Potentially Christie, Targett and Mitrovic. I'm quite impressed by that to be fair.

If true then yes.  Bit puzzled by Christie though.

Option to push Fred further forward perhaps.

JoelH5

Ian thee actually and links to BBC confirming Christie?

We don't need him any further forwards, who are we going to drop?

My information from my intelligence unit is that Mitrovic and Christie deals are still in the pipeline, so that combined email we sent earlier with almost 12,000 signatures, may have had an effect, Time will tell.

Maybe Christie can play in other back 4 positions.

Perhaps Fredericks gets pushed further forward based on recent performances..? Or Christie does.. two of the best in their position is good for us.

How can he be set to join? The window is closed and then no deal sheets for these deals unless I'm mistaken.
