Christie is a great signing. He has always been a thorn in our sides when he has played against us. The usual few moaned about our squad depth & when we do something about it  they still moan .

If I am one of the "moaners" then I stand by that concern.  And in my view the area of depth most lacking is at CB. Is Targett a CG? No.  Is Christie a CB? No.  Is that part of the squad still thin? Yes.

Exactly, the point I was just typing out to Grandad.

Give me the name of a CB who was available, within our fee band & wage limit & wanted to come to us & fight out a 4 way start for 2 places.
PS. Now we have the striker some felt we needed.Left it late but a good window as it has turned out.

CB - NO but Christie has played there and means cover for RB that frees up Odoi as cover for CB

So all in all a good window

Only issue I see is that only 5 of

Mitovic 
Ojo

Can be in the match day squad .
Not good for Ojo in my view

Really good transfer window.  Cover at right back/right midfield, target no.9 which we've lacked since Martin left, some dead wood shipped out and some youngsters gone out on loan to get some league experience.

The core of the first team stay and none of them sold.

In an ideal world I'd have liked to see some cover at centre back as well but Odoi can hold the fort if need be.

I suspect this wasn't easy but FFC deserve some credit for strengthening the squad without breaking the bank.
