Le Marchand is a good ball playing centre half, fairly nippy for a 6ft defender as well. He played CB for most of his career but last season played a few games at left back for Nice.

Sounds good, but I prefer Musacchio if I'm honest. We'll see who ends up holding our new kit.

Musacchio is a right sided defender and Le Marchand is left sided - we need at least two centre backs anyway so we might end up with both. It was reported ages ago and I think I might've added it to the transfer rumour thread but Le Marchand is available for abut £4m Euros so he is not expensive at all, meaning we could splash out on Mussachio still.

Could be looking at Kalas and Mus for RCB and Ream and Le March for LCB. I don't think anyone on this forum would object with that for our for as t season back in the Premier league

Can't object, but can't see us grabbing 3 CB's this window either, especially with Odoi as an option. 2 of a good quality would be solid for me. LB, ST, probably RW more pressing than a 3rd

Fulham to sign Maxime Le Marchand from OGC Nice

Premier League side Fulham have agreed a deal with OGC Nice to sign central defender Maxime Le Marchand, according to Nice-Matin.

The Frenchman has quit Nice's pre-season camp in Divonne-les-Bains this afternoon and will now travel to London to complete the move.

That does sound promising for the Nixon rumours. Don't think a local Nice paper would make up something about a player leaving their pre-season camp.

He made 41 appearances last season, he's more than a backup. He's a natural CB but played LB a fair bit whilst Nice's #1 LB was injured last season. Also played 5/6 Europa League group games for them last year as well.
