If Fredericks does leave, we should look at one of Michel Macedo (Las Palmas), Jonas Svensson (AZ Alkmaar), Moritz Bauer (Stoke) or Timothy Fosu-Mensah on loan from United now they're signing another RB from Porto. Christie's not good enough to start in the Prem. Loses his man too easily, so god help him against the Sane's and Hazard's of this world.
Bauer looks legit from what I've seen, I'd be pleased with getting him. Can't speak to the others.

We have been linked with Bauer before his move to Russia and he did look great at Stoke last season. Would be a shrewd signing.

If you take any notice of the gossip pages, Wolves will be bidding over £150 mil for numerous players. I want us to stay under the radar with players we are interested in. In the PL there are always clubs ready to gazump us. If it´s reported that we are interested in a player for £20 mil some other club willoffer £25 mil.

By reports in the last hour it looks like Fred is definitely off to Spam.😡

He's not even in the country though, in fact he's only just landed in LA with the rest of the team so not sure how the press have come to that conclusion. We had this exact same thing in January where if you believed all the shite in the media then he was gone alone with TC. Still think he'll sign an extension, it would be weird for him not to bearing in mind there's no difference between us and West Ham and we play a more attacking system in which he thrives...

West Ham just got a big name manager in though, which might help sway him.

But according to the media, Sessegnon and Cairney have both been transferred several times over. And we were apparently on the verge of selling McDonald to Rangers for £2 million. So take these reports with a healthy heaping of salt.

Woolly Mammoth

The media are desperate for news, any news, even when there isn't any news. If they told me night followed day, I would go and ask someone else.

The difference between a contract with us and West ham is that he would probably get a big signing on package as WH would not have not paid any transfer fee for him, don't know if the personal terms would be the same. It's all down to ££££££££'s.

Best not to believe anything until you see it on the club website, we do have Christie but is he premiership level?

That's the Spirit!!
The atmosphere's fresh and the debate lively.

Both stories are out there today - he's off to WHU and he wants to stay. I think it's just attitude structuring by sections of the press. By all accounts, Fred is abroad so won't make a decision till he has both/all offers on the table. Then he'll make the decision as to what he thinks is right for him.

I wouldn't take any notice of current paper gossip - Sky are reporting Leicester are looking to take Grealish for 40 million!

I noticed on Twitter today that Fredrick's has gone to a new agency. He joined Unique Sports Management yesterday - This will be why all of these stories are hitting the papers today, I would say it's 50/50 as we speak.

Interestingly they also manage Tom Cairney, Steven Sessegnon and Michail Antonio.

That agency actually has at least 4/5 fulham players on its books. They've got the Sess brothers, TC, Edun and Ollie Norwood on their books so I think that's more positive for us than anything...

Agreed, however they seem to have a lot of West Ham too!

#TransferNews It is believed that #Leicester are preparing a £15m bid for #Fulham midfielder Tom Cairney this summer with the #Foxes very interested in the player. #LCFC #FFC #PremierLeague

That is a bit low seeing as we rejected a £20 million offer last year before he signed his new contract. They need to keep their news ticker going though I guess.

FULHAM JOIN NEWCASTLE IN GROWING RACE FOR 8-FIGURE VALUED ACE

Fulham are looking at signing Gianmarco Ferrari this summer, according to Calciomercato.it, with the likes of Newcastle also interested.

Ferrari was on loan at Sampdoria from Sassuolo last season as he made 30 appearances in a campaign which ended in disappointment because three consecutive losses denied them the chance to finish in a Europa League place. However, Marco Giampaolo has still done well with the Genoa-based outfit.

His passing numbers hint at why Fulham and the Magpies are interested because he averaged 56.6 passes with a success rate of 88.3% in the league last season as a centre-back. However, they will have to contend with Sevilla for his signature and Sampdoria who have an option to buy him for 13 million euros.

The Verdict

Ferrari's statistics suggest that he would be a good fit for the Cottagers because of his ability to retain possession and keep the ball circulating. This is something that a lot of defenders would struggle with due to the high demands at Fulham.

The 26-year-old is unlikely to be a feasible target, though, because the aforementioned suitors are all likely to be higher than them in the pecking order for his signature. Although going after targets such as Ferrari should be seen as a positive for fans because it suggests that they are looking for players who fit the system rather than attempting to force experienced Premier League players in who aren't suited.
