And I thought that I would pass it on to you, it could be feasible or it could be a load of cobblers, but f.w.i.w here it is,
There are problems within the squad, with the squad split in two camps,
Firstly you have the former Championship players who are all pi**ed off for two reasons, firstly because the new signings are all on more money than them, and secondly because they feel that the new comers don't share the same passion and desire for the club as they do,
The new signings don't feel welcome , they haven't bonded and don't feel part of the squad,
Jokanovic has apparently sided with the former Championship players,  even though he realises that they are not good enough he does at least appreciate that they are trying,
This might explain a couple of things, firstly, why we have hardly seen Mawson and Anguissa, and secondly why Tim Ream said what he said during the week,

Whether it's Fulham or Maidenhead United , it's up to the manager to mould the squad in to a tight knit unit with everybody pulling in the same direction, that's clearly not happening with us,
The question is, how do we address the issue ?
It's been noticeable that after each international break when most of them have had two weeks together we've come back looking worse than we did before the break,
I've personally already written off the 2018/2019 season, were down no question about it , the sooner that the club and supporters accept and start preparing for next season the better,
I have massive concerns for the 2019/2020 season the better, unless we are very, very, very careful we are at great risk of doing a Sunderland and going straight through the Championship, we've only got 2 decent players, Sess and Mitro and as sure as night follows day they won't be here next season, what are we left with then ?
We're already miles behind Cardiff City for next season, they are only two decent strikers away from having a very good Championship side,
If the club and the fans accept their fate nice and early it means that you can turn a negative in to a positive, here's how, it gives you the opportunity to drip feed the future of Fulham in to the side , players like Steven Sessegnon, Marlon Fossey, Matt O'Riley and Lucas de la Torre should all hopefully be given a chance in the second half of the season,
Jokanovic frustrates the life out of me, but I just don't see the point of sacking him (Just yet) , what's the point, our defence and midfield are abysmal and it doesn't matter who is in charge they couldn't make a decent team out of the players available,
Scary as hell to consider what lies ahead next summer and yet another massive rebuild ahead this time with the very real threat of F.F.P hanging over us,
Strap yourselves in, it's a car crash of a season ahead and we haven't even hit the wall yet 😣⚫⚪⚫

Baszab

I heard silmiiar story - also Khan went ballistic after the game and there was a massive row with SJ and certain players - when SJ went  into the after match conference he was still shaking with rage

Riversider your post makes a whole load of sense to me.

RaySmith

I don't think anyone at the club - players or fans , manager or owners should accept relegation at this point, or any point, of the season.

I'm certainly not going to. Fans, especially st holders, would be entitled to sue the club if they thought this was the case.

What you are arguing is the same as some were arguing the season we went down - give the youngsters a chance, going down will give us the chance to rebuild with our youngsters as a base. Magath did this, and look what happened.
It's always better if you can stay up.

These rumours of divisions between the players you cite - well, this kind of thing happens I suppose when you have so many new comers. That's one reason clubs have wage policies.

Slavisa  obviously should only play players committed to the club, make them into a team - get necessary reinforcements in Jan.

Robbie

To be frank, this is pretty obvious.

More importantly, most of the successful promoted clubs (CP, B, B&H, WW) have basically maintained cohesive squads. We came up late and had lots of loanees.

Partly we are a victim of circumstance BUT also we need to get our ACT together quickly, else the Championship heroes will be returning to that league.

Cheers, COYWs

Well put riversider  , I honestly thought we had a good chance of turning things round yesterday, alas not.

riverersider , similar to what I've heard on the It and on the pitch it's been noticable, with the lack of fight.
I have also written this season off and who knows what fallout we get from the mess the clubs in I watched TCs interview post match and it felt it was just words.nothing worse than watching players in the shirt who have no work ethic or pride in it!!

If any of this is true and I have no idea either way. Then we really can't afford to keep the coach any longer. IF true his failure to manage the team and knit the team into a group all fighting for the same things and not hunkering down into little cliques is causing a huge amount of problems that seem to be growing as the season goes on.
The above IS NOT A LEGAL DOCUMENT. It is an opinion.

We may yet hear the horse talk.

I can stand my own despair but not others hope

This somehow needs to be addressed by getting everyone staff ,players and the Khan's need to listen, understand, then lay it out that no matter the rights and wrong remind coaches and players if everybody puts issues aside for the good of the club give the coaches till Xmas to get an improvement or tell them there out.
The Khan's spent the dosh they have to instigate and take control and make the decisions.

Its true, heard it from someone who would know today. He's torn between being loyal to his championship players. Problem is the prem has moved on, loved Betts, KMac, Ream etc but really pains me to say they're not premier league quality.
The pace & athleticism most sides possess make our back four & midfielder's look ponderous.
Think he needs to give Mawson & Anguissa an extended run

alfie

I am really shocked and dismayed that people have written them off and accepting relegation, we are not even half way yet, we could win the next couple of games who knows, there is no way whatsoever I will accept relegation until mathematically impossible to stop it.

Story of my life
"I was looking back to see if she was looking back to see if i was looking back at her"
Sadly she wasn't

This is crazy if true. There is no room for sentimentality in football/business. If he fails to make the right decisions soon he will be gone. How he can fail to play Mawson who played an entire Premier League season and was on the verge of England selection but continue with Odoi who displays time and again that he is not up to standard I don't know. Ream may make the step up played alongside Mawson but at the moment he is also found wanting. The defensive midfielder needs to be just that, sitting in front of the back four. Anguissa can do that, that is where he played for Marseille all last season. I loved KMac last season but he is struggling and caught for pace frequently. I'd be inclined to play both him and Anguissa and allow the full backs to attack. We were lost without that attacking option yesterday
Jok needs to get a grip fast or he will be toast

I agree

Maybe Slav is not big enough to manage these types of players now we are in the prem.

slav has to pick his best 16 players even if likes of Steve sess and O'Riley included and ask the 16 if they are committed to working together and fighting for the shirt 100 minutes every game and if slav can't do it get someone in that can!

Yes it is more than likely this is the case, which can explain the lack of urgency amongst the players.
But Jok is not the only one instrumental in this issue getting as far as it has.
The recruitment department, the dreaded stats team and their doom ed box ticking, not forgetting the Khans, and all and sundry who failed to contribute in making sure that Jok and his team/squad were more than prepared for the new season.
Call it incompetence, negligence, inexperience, unqualified, or inefficiency or all five.
The club collectively should take a lot of responsibility, which goes further back than last summer preseason.
But inevitably the blame has fallen into Joks lap, because it's a Results Business, and Jok has to try and resolve what now is a very difficult issue, and it appears to have gone past the point of no return.
But the club are also responsible, and Jok has handled the job poorly.
But sacking him will not solve their situation until they change their policies.
Its not the man in the fight, it's the fight in the man.  🐘

Never forget your Roots.

Under the circumstances it is the sort of story that almost generates itself with no real truth behind it, so I am not sure it is to be believed.

If it is true ten Jocanovic has failed in his duty to knit a team together and should be sacked immediately.

Spirit of 2000

Sounds totally feasible. That transfer window was a total disaster... we shouldn't have gone near the likes of Seri and Anguissa. An utter waste of 45 million.

The issue seems to be yet again Slav not happy with the transfers...Anguissa in yet not Targett? one late left back and one late right back for 6 mill and a loan, priorities out of line...
Quark, strangeness and charm

Seri and anguissa waste of money you have to allow players to adapt to new players around them adjust to Pace of league.
