Its a great signing but would of liked it announced a week earlier.

/s

Wolves got rid of their MD a few days ago and have loaned or sold several players over the last week or so. The hold up could have very well been there end.

Just enough time to get him ready for the first game I think.

Good news and just about time enough to get him ready for the first match.
Our attack looking potent now:-

   Cavaleiro             Mitrovic          Kamara

                  Cairney               Johanson

                           Anguissa

Could be exciting.

Hopefully the new Dead Snake

Luis' name is actually "good death" in Portuguese 😆

Ivan is a great signing - proven quality in the Championship and a clear sign of our intent to prospective players and hopefully those like Sess who may (or may not) be wavering.

Might be getting greedy but if we can secure a statement GK who commands his box and maybe a CB (although Ream and Mawson could be a cracking pair at Champ level) then we are looking in a pretty good shape squad wise.

Wolves fan in peace

I also think his end product in terms of goals and assists is poor.

Are you having a laugh?

In his 42 matches in 2017/18, Cavaleiro scored nine times and laid on a further 12 assists.

Yes indeed. In all his time in The Championship he scored or assisted every 135 minutes of playing time.  That is exceptionally productive.

Fulham 442

I usually ignore fans of other clubs coming on here, especially when they are, albeit politely,  telling us we've been mugged off. Personally, in this instance, I don't think we have!

You'll see.

Why do you think we're selling him and at the same time have a really thin squad with only two confirmed attackers (ignoring the academy).

I've seen many attempted crosses and shots from Cav. hit the corner flag.

Although this is the championship, he's no good for where we're going.

But you can't fail really with an option to buy, hope it works out as we still have a vested interest in him.

is Costa equally aa bad

@jolslover

Cavaleiro is a class signing and the reactions from the majority of Wovles fans on twitter shows how much they rate him

Very well done Tony.

My bro in law, a life-long Wolves supporter and season ticket holder, thinks highly of him but says under the regime at Wolves and change of formation he was unlikely to regain a regular first team place. Quite popular amongst Wolves supporters. (He is a far better option than Traore might have been.)

What did Wolves pay for him.  I have watched him a fair bit and he is excellent.  Great signing.
Mitro and Cav, Sess or Ak will be awesome attack.

JoelH5

That Pig bloke sounds a bit salty..

Twitter is full of Wolves fans saying they are sad to see him go. As said above, if a goal or assist every 135 mins is poor, give me a team of poor players all day long!

Great start let's pick up a couple more now

Cav has also been a part of the the Wolves preseason to date and so will be ready to start our first game I'm sure.

Happy with this. A sign that maybe we will now look to players that have proven themselves in England?

Some defenders please....

MikeW

Will be nice to hear Scott's views on him.  He looks like the sort of player we need.
