How many tines has ak played as a striker can't be much. Mitro probably has good stats for his mins too. Let's not talk about cav. Our right back has 5 goals doesn't he so he's doing well. Maybe we should play him further up. Just a thought.

Maybe when or if tete gets fit he can play in bdr place and put bobby up front

BDR is doing really well in this current role.

He was not a success as central striker last season,

We are desperate!!

Not as desperate as your maths ability it would seem

OK haha well 3 goals in 15 games by three strikers

But they have not all played all games, and certainly not as strikers all the time.

Of those three Cav. must have played the most and Kamara the least. Time to give Kamara a couple of full games.

Filham is right. Cav has been picked a disproportionate amount and everyone can see he is useless as a striker. And I mean genuinely useless. No goals from open play in over a year and frequently gives away the ball, fails to cross, misses chances (that header was woeful) and is just mentally untuitable to the challenge: he always makes the wrong decision.

There is harm at all in playing Kamara in that top of the pitch position, as he has not been tried there once. He usually gets used as a winger  playing wide. He has speed and in our great run three seasons ago he was excellent. If we had him played correctly or of course a fully fit and mobile Mitro all would be fine, and that goal tally would be much higher.

Also Tom Cairney scores for us remember ? So too Josh when fit and Joe Bryan is worth playing further up the field if Mitro is in the team. This squad has lots of unexplored options open but the obsession with Cav is stopping all that.

Kamara is awful, shocks me that people think he could be effective in the prem

Forget the obsession with Cavalero as a striker he is getting picked because he can play defending from the front and counter attack with pace. Play Cairney ,Mitro and Bryan in the same side and lets see how many goals we let in.
Instead of looking at goals scored since Mitro and Company have been out of the side wake up and looka at goal difference instead.

He doesn't.   640+ minutes... 2 goals... 2 assist.

To be fair...we've moved Bobby to a more defensive position (to help Aina) which has also hurt our goal scoring opportunities.

Maybe, once Tete is there, we won't need to have a RWB help our RFB.    It's not like Antonee Robinson gets any help from Lookman...yet we don't look any less solid on the left side.

And yes...we need a fast striker in the transfer window.   RLC/Cav shouldn't be our best options available when Bobby is used defensively.

IMO...in a perfect world, we have this lineup.

             Areola
Tete    Anderson  Tosin    Robinson

    Aina     Anguissa   Lemina

New player   Mitro/Bobby     Lookman

Aina can do what Bobby is currently doing now.

In essence, that gives us 5 defenders...with Anguissa and Lemina who can either defend or attack in the midfield, and up top we have our strongest attacking options.

imo

Agreed. He is one we need to sell or loan out in January. Definitely not a premier league player

id still sell cav who is worse than useless, and send rlc home before I sell ak. He is better than them.

I don't rate Cav as a striker.    Bobby, not AK47, should be up top...but AINA isn't good enough defensively, so Bobby isn't used further up.

Cav is there for his work rate and pace, and he's better when we don't have possession.

No goals conceded from open play in 4 games.
