I find it amusing that people are now expecting S.Utd to suddenly become world beaters, he could also fail miserably.
After what he did with us in the championship do you believe that will happen?
I have no idea whatsoever, he may well do a great job, but equally he may not.

What is the difference between Parker & Jokanovic ? You can understand every word Parker says in interviews.

I couldn't care less about his interviews. If Parker's Fulham were playing in my back yard, I'd draw the curtains.

All this further ammo to have a go at our owners. We offered him an extension in the championship and before the start of the premier season. His agent just wasn't playing ball.

By the time we sacked him, there weren't many who could argue with the decision. At that point he decided to to sign a contract at the hotbed of football in Qatar. As I understand it, he aint done that brilliantly there.

He aint that in demand. It is Sheffield United we are talking here.

Whilst I think Parker is a lame duck, I wouldn't want Slavisa back. We can do better. I wouldn't want Sessegnon back. We can do better. Mitro has had his time. We can do better.

I man-love all 3 of these guys and they have given me fantastic times but I absolutely agree with the timing of them leaving* but think it ridiculous that its just another chance for people to take shots at our owners. And then moan that the owners aren't saying much.

Really is time we stopped talking about Jokanovic but don't forget he had bad periods here as well as good, we had to waite a while after his arrival for good results  and then his premiership period was bad. Yes Parker had good defenders this season but then Jocanovic had good attacking players.

The bad periods you describe are because he uses the first 10 games or so, to create the 'identity'. He did the same at the beginning of each season with us. It's a trait, I expect it to be the same at Sheff Utd.
Thats true he did, however at the start of the prem season that condemned us, very similar t this season. You just cannot afford to be playing catch up.

Love Slav, but he was never going to come back to us, shame but thats life

His Prem season, everything that could go against him did. No pre-season, still signing players when the season had already started, signing players without Prem experience and so much more.

Biggest mistake our owners made was getting rid of Slav when they did.

Agree 100%.

Why would you sign any sort of contract when the owners aren't getting on with the you? That was well known. Even Parker has had his moments with Tony Khan.

Watford didn't seem too fussed about letting him go. He had one really good half a season with us, which you may argue he was building up to, but his Prem time sowed the seeds for our relegation and he was rightly moved on.

Mitro will probably follow.

Good call... which will be an epic kick in balls for us fans and a damming indictment of several key people at our club if it happens
This season keeps getting worse... Will it never end?? 🤬🤬😡

Watford aren't fussed about letting anybody go !

Somerset Fulham

There is no way Ollie McBurnie and co will be able to play a Slav style of football.   Either they are opening up the chequebook or it's going to take at least another season before they are challenging.

Half a season? We played the best football in the Championship for two years in a row and everybody said so.

Social media going daft (apparently) with rumors of Cairney to Sheff Untd.
The atmosphere's fresh and the debate lively.

Sadly his long standing injury problems means he is a big gamble wherever he ends up. Very sad considering what a real talent he was. Hopefully still can be.
The above IS NOT A LEGAL DOCUMENT. It is an opinion.

We may yet hear the horse talk.

I can stand my own despair but not others hope

We might become a feeder club to Sheffield Utd known as Fulham t'up North !

Absolutely love Slav and was amazed when we stupidly gave him the bullet. This feels a bit like your stunning ex-wife shacking up with some pipe bender who lives around the corner, and you bump into them both at the local spoons every now and then at Thursday's curry club. All the while you're casting remorseful and admiring glances across the room, crying into your pint of Tuborg; consoled only by the fact it cost you £1.99. Absolutely gutted; though get your money on Sheffield United going straight back up whilst we're stuck in mid table admiring Parker's latest splurge at River Island

My point is that people are complaining at our owners regarding Slavisa, when they were actively trying to extend his contract. You then have a difficult decision when things aren't going well and he seems quite stubborn in his tactics. DO you stick with a guy for the long-term and let hm ride the rough period, when its likely he will walk out anyway.
And, I think its fair to make the point again, that possibly his motivation was more financial, when you consider where he ended up.

I think the Scott Parker experiment has failed and I really do not look forward to more of his style of play but, I think we will be a far better bet next season than Sheffield UTD.
