Wonder if they might be tempted by the guy at the top of the Championship?

He is a Spud in his heart.
Where there's a will there's a wife

Andy S

A supporter suggested that very thing on talk sport last night

Yes, that is clearly his destiny but a little too early at the moment. If he tops the Championship this season, follows that with a mid table Premier league season, continues with decent media interviews and wearing fashionable clothing then he could be a front runner for the Spurs job. England could beckon when he turns forty,

He might be able to meet all the benchmarks you have listed, except the fashionable clothing.

Nero

Lets face it no one wanted that job a few months ago, hes probably the only one that would take it or already has knowing how he works

Imagine getting a couple of million for a few months work though. Brilliant.
Spurs, the club as a whole, and their fans, have serious visions of grandeur. They're not league contenders and won't be without serious player investment.

Sacked, will be hard for them to get a top drawer manager so mid table obscurity for them for a long while hopefully

I think Conte will go there. But, he will have Levy over a barrel with regard to salary. He will probably demand £20m per year, five year contract - plus a bonus for keeping Spurs up!

The other (cheaper) option of course is 'super' Scott Parker.  Although even he might ask for £10m plus!

Not sure Levy can survive another failed managerial appointment. But I guess he will blame Fabio Paratici if Conte is a failure.....

MikeTheCubed

2 points behind Man Utd & Arsenal despite having played 5 of the top 6 in their first 10 games.

PaulJ123

Conte's in talks but I imagine Parker might be 3rd or 4th choice to try and get the supporters back on side.

Woolly Mammoth

What about Neil Warnock, he will guarantee Spurs stay up, he has a great record for that.

Spurs 'panic' (even Jacques Santini, think that was his name, lasted longer) in removing a good manager (certainly not a bad one) simply shows how well Pochetino did and how stupid Levy was to get rid of him.
Hopefully Nuno and his legal team take Levy to the cleaners over compensation

Parker to Spurs would be amazing.  That would derail the Cherries nicely.

Woolly Mammoth

Nuno had just 4 months in charge, how come in that little time has he gone from the man the same people offered him the job, to the same people who have decided to show him the door. What did they expect in 4 months. If they have made such an error of judgement they should look at themselves as they are clearly incompetent and irresponsible to make such decisions.
