Although..........who knows how he made his money, through buying and selling
huge luxury properties  ?

The unbelievable arrogance of the big clubs it's not enough that the Chelsea team costs 10 times maybe even 30 times the cost of Middlesbrough team they now want to deprive the boro fans of watching their team play against them. This might be the furthest boro have gone in the FA Cup for many seasons. The reason is they only sold 500-600 tickets before the embargo came into place leaving 4000 unsold. Is it not possible for Chelsea to give the other 4000 tickets free to season ticket holders that want to go. Does this mean that Chelsea will play their remaining home league games behind closed doors as I believe they are not allowed to sell tickets to away fans.

Apparently Chelsea asked the FA whether they could give the tickets away but have had no reply. That said this is breathtaking arrogance by Chelsea, in particular because they propose the match be played behind closed doors for "matters of sporting integrity". This coming from a club that leads the world in matters of sporting integrity.

The Chelsea Supporters Trust have asked Chelsea to withdraw this request. And Middlesbrough will resist Chelsea's request in the strongest possible terms.
