I watched a Bandaid gig last night on Utube, unbelievable performance, the lead guitarist and bass guitarist having a right old ding dong, phenomenal.
This is all down to you, thanks

Marianne Faithfull and Joan Baez. Saw  Joan live at the Cambridge Folk festival c 1980, she did her Dylan impression, very funny - she was great, of course

Joan Baez and Bob Dylan

On freeview number 71 they showed a live performance of The Hollies and Carrie Anne. For the part where another instrument takes over they all fool about looking for it, with Allan Clarke looking down the front of his trousers. I wonder what musical instrument he expected to find there?

not the correct clip but as close as I could find  ::tongue::

To answer the question accurately the best instrumental that I've heard today, whilst looking for something else, is this. It was new to me and rather nice, I think.

Non sumus statione ferriviaria

NEK! Started off doing covers to other bands music. They did a few Band Maid covers but now stand out as their own band. Although very much with that heavy bass sound that The Maids made their own.
