Fulham midfielder to link up with League One side
Exeter City are poised to land Fulham youngster Luke Harris on loan, as detailed in a report by DevonLive.

Exeter City are preparing for the upcoming League One season and kick-start the 2023/24 campaign with an away trip to Wycombe Wanderers this weekend.

Harris, 18, has been away with Fulham on their pre-season trip to USA but they are heading back to England now following their friendly loss to Chelsea on Sunday.

DevonLive suggest the teenager has 'agreed' a loan switch to join Gary Caldwell's side next term.

Exeter new face incoming
Harris will inject more quality into Exeter's midfield ranks if they are to win the race to land him. He will also add more competition and depth into their options in the middle of the park.

The Jersey-born man is highly-rated by the Cottagers and is being tipped for a bright future in the game with the London outfit. However, his pathway into their first-team at the moment is blocked due to the abundance of options that Marco Silva has in his position at his disposal meaning a temporary exit would be beneficial to his development.

It would allow him to get some regular game time under his belt at a decent level in the Football League.

Harris has been on the books at Fulham for his whole career to date and has risen up through the academy ranks of the Premier League club. He has been ever-present for them at various youth levels throughout the past few years and has played five times for their senior team.

A loan switch to Exeter, just like his teammate Jay Stansfield last term, could be on the cards for him in the near future now.

Aleksandar Mitrovic will seek Fulham transfer exit even if Saudi Arabia switch falls through

Aleksandar Mitrovic will push to leave Fulham this summer even if his proposed big-money move to Saudi Arabia falls through.

Al-Hilal have been ready to more than triple Mitrovic's £120,000-a-week wages but Fulham want around £50million for the striker and they are reluctant to meet that asking price.

Mitrovic has tried to force through a move to Al-Hilal and is unhappy after Fulham rejected their latest offer of £40m.

Should the Saudi club end their pursuit of him, Mitrovic will seek an alternative move in Europe after indicating he wants to leave Craven Cottage.

Mitrovic is back in training with Fulham but the 28-year-old was left out of their squad to face Chelsea in Washington last night.

Speaking over the weekend, Fulham manager Marco Silva said: "It is a process and it is not an easy situation.

"I am not here to talk about the negotiations and clubs that are linked with him. He is with the group. Let's hope we get him as fit as we can in the next few days."

Player has 'quickly' reached agreement for Fulham exit – PL side 'very close' to agreeing deal for sale
On July 27th, L'Equipe reported AS Monaco have submitted a first offer of around €5m to sign Fulham defender Tosin Adarabioyo.

The Ligue 1 side are keen on bolstering their defence and the 25-year-old has been identified as their main target, according to Foot Mercato.

Monaco are on the right track to sign the Fulham player. It's claimed they have 'quickly' reached an agreement with him, despite interest from other clubs, including Tottenham Hotspur. A deal now needs to be agreed between the two clubs.

The report states the French club are now close to agreeing a deal with Marco Silva's side for the centre-back. Foot Mercato add the two clubs want the operation to be closed before the weekend.

On Sunday, multiple reports in England and France stated the Ligue 1 side have a deal in place to sell Axel Disasi to Chelsea.

With Monaco now 'very close' to completing a deal for the Fulham player, the report says he should replace Disasi at the club next season.

There's no mention of the fee Silva's side will collect from Adarabioyo's impending sale.

Fulham Rumour Round-Up: Walker-Peters, Sutalo, Rieder

Mondays come around far too quickly. Stick that kettle on, Cam's back on the keyboard with a fresh batch of transfer rumours and they're rather tasty.

Click your fingers and boom – just like that, two summer signings in Raúl Jiménez and Calvin Bassey waltz through the door and slowly but surely, Marco Silva's vision for the upcoming season is beginning to take shape. With a matter of weeks to go until Everton, though, we have to think fast and spend wisely if we're to really attain game changers and this week's supplement is full of 'em. Time's ticking, let's get stuck in!

Kyle Walker-Peters – Southampton
Southampton were relegated to the Championship last term and Fulham, disclosed by The Sun, are reportedly monitoring one of the Saints' prized assets, Kyle Walker-Peters. Valued at £20m, Walker-Peters is also being spied by RC Lens and AS Roma, however it's thought the overseas clubs would prefer to loan in the 26-year-old right-back, rather than purchase him permanently.

Over the course of the summer window, Fulham have been associated with a potential bid for Leicester City's Timothy Castagne, and as there's reservations surrounding Kevin Mbabu's ability and commitment, the probability of bringing in an assured full-back is high and Walker-Peters would definitely fit the bill. The two-time England international's punchiness on the break would compliment Silva's strategy and his recovery runs are just as urgent. If the Whites could bump down the asking price, this could be a very worthwhile addition so I hope we're taking him into consideration.

Samuel Iling-Junior – Juventus
It's Il Bianconero's understanding that West Ham United, Everton and Fulham are tracking Juventus hotshot Samuel Iling-Junior. Iling-Junior, 19, honed his skills at Chelsea and in 2020, the winger penned a three-year deal at Juve and last season was his breakthrough campaign in Italy.

In 18 outings, the England U20 representative registered a goal and two assists and as he's regarded as an exciting prospect, the Bianconeri have placed a €20m price tag on his head, although it's said they would also be happy for the Islington-born winger to depart on a temporary basis if the project suits his development programme.

Fausto Vera – Corinthians
Well-known Italian publication Corriere dello Sport revealed that as well as Fiorentina and AC Milan, Fulham are supposedly in the running for Corinthians midfielder Fausto Vera. This surfaced after journalist Jorge Nicola portrayed the Whites' curiosity in the 23-year-old and if any of the aforementioned clubs enter negotiations with the Brazilian side, the fee is likely to be within the €10m range.

The article states that a 'proposal has emerged' from Fulham, although talks between involved parties are formative, rather than advanced. Vera is an Argentina U23 player and while he's billed as a defensive midfielder, he is able to operate in varying roles in the centre of the park, so you could label him an all-rounder with room to grow.

Josip Sutalo – Dinamo Zagreb
An extract from an Firenze Viola article proposes that as well as Fiorentina, Arsenal, Ajax, SSC Napoli and Red Bull Leipzig, Fulham are in the mix for Dinamo Zagreb's Josip Sutalo. The highly experienced 23-year-old centre-back will allegedly cost between €20-25m and given his age, and his remarkable know-how at both club and international level, securing his signature could be a very fruitful investment.

Of course, Fulham have bolstered their central defensive ranks with Bassey, but further depth is undoubtedly required if Tosin departs, and though Southampton's Mohammed Salisu's been earmarked, Sutalo, in my opinion, is the sturdier of the two. There's plenty of clamour for the young defender, and rightly so, so as the plot thickens regarding the Croatia international's future, Fulham have got to show their hand if there's any chance of landing him.

Fabian Rieder – BSC Young Boys
This rumour has ramped up drastically and a story pushed by German outlet Bild indicates that Young Boys midfielder Fabian Rieder has rebuffed offers from Premier League duo Fulham and Brentford. The 21-year-old apparently isn't swayed by a switch to English shores and on the continent, there's presumed intrigue from Borussia Monchengladbach.

Rieder is still undecided as to where he'll pull strings next season and even if he remains at the Stadion Wankdorf, he's undoubtedly one to watch out for in the years to come. The Swiss international has a sweet left foot, his energy alleviates pressure and in the opening game of the 2023/24 season in Switzerland (it commenced on the 23 July) he contributed an assist to Young Boys' 2-1 victory over Lausanne-Sport. Impact from the off.

Habib Diallo – Strasbourg
Those at TEAMtalk have been informed that Fulham are now involved in the melee for Strasbourg's sought-after striker Habib Diallo. The Whites will have to contend with West Ham, Brentford and Nottingham Forest for Diallo's services but really, where we're concerned, any potential bid for the 28-year-old balances on Aleksandar Mitrovic's Saudi saga.

The Senegal international bagsman netted 20 Ligue 1 goals last season and at this juncture of his career, he could have his best years ahead of him yet. Jiménez recently teamed up with Silva and his men in America from Wolverhampton Wanderers, we've still got Carlos Vinicius, Rodrigo Muniz and Jay Stansfield on our books and as we're yet to receive a sufficient offer from Mitrovic from the Middle East, we have no choice but to put this one on the backburner for now.

Mitrovic 'will push' for summer departure
The Evening Standard suggests this morning that Aleksandar Mitrovic 'will push' to leave Fulham this summer even if his big-money move to Saudi Arabia falls through.

The Serbian striker trained with his team-mates on the final three days of Fulham's pre-season tour and Marco Silva remains determined to keep him at Craven Cottage. Al-Hilal, who turned the forward's head with an offer to treble his salary, have moved onto other targets having proven unable to match Fulham's £52m valuation and the Standard's Nizaar Kinsella reports that the unsettled number nine is still hoping to leave SW6 before the end of the summer transfer window.

The major issue with that position is that all interested parties have baulked at Fulham's asking price for the 28 year-old. Mitrovic's agent, Pini Zahavi, is working overtime to try and find a solution and offered his client to Inter Milan this weekend but the Nerazzurri – whose financial difficulties saw them default on their stadium payments earlier this month – would neither be able to afford Fulham's asking price or match Mitrovic's current salary.

Tosin 'nears Monaco move'
Fulham centre back Tosin Adarabioyo is edging nearer to a transfer to Monaco, according to reports from France.

The 25 year-old defender, who has entered the final year of his contract at Craven Cottage, has rejected approaches from Tottenham in order to clear the path for move to Ligue 1. The former Manchester City trainee has quickly agreed terms with Monaco, according to Foot Mercato, who also claim that Les Rouge et Blanc are confident of striking a deal with Fulham by the weekend.

Monaco have identified Tosin, who has made 106 appearances for Fulham since arriving from City for £1.8m in October 2020, as their preferred replacement for the Chelsea-bound Axel Disasi but have yet to match the Whites' valuation for their ball-playing centre back. Fulham rejected Monaco's first offer of around £4.3m and are believed to be holding out for a fee of at least £10m.

Juve in 'pole position' for Castagne
Fulham are still chasing Leicester City full back Timothy Castagne – but the Belgian's preferred destination is Juventus, according to reports from Italy.

The Foxes want nearly £13m for their versatile full back, who featured in the final game of City's pre-season tour of Asia – a 4-0 hammering by Liverpool yesterday, but the fee is a problem for Juventus, who will need to trim their bloated squad to raise the funds. Castagne has indicated a preference to move to La Vecchia Signora, with his representatives even telling the Turin giants that a lack of European football is no barrier to the transfer, but the uncertainty over when and whether Juve will stump up the cash creates an opportunity for Fulham.

Leicester are planning for the departure of one of their remaining international stars and the 27 year-old is believed to be high on Marco Silva's list of potential right backs to challenge Kenny Tete after the Dutch international's stellar season last year. The Whites are hoping that a combination of Premier League football, their London location and a salary offer that Juventus will be unable to match could still see Castagne lining up at Craven Cottage later this month.

Fulham's 'pressing is insistent' to sign 27-year-old – €15m needed
Leicester City's Timothy Castagne has ended up on Fulham's radar, according to a report from Italy.

The fullback would like to leave the King Power Stadium after the Foxes' relegation from the Premier League. Claims from Italy have pushed Juventus out in front as the main contender.

Massimiliano Allegri's side will face competition from Fulham to sign the 27-year-old, according to Tutto Juve.

Their title states the Premier League side 'insist on Castagne' and within the report, it's said the London club's 'pressing is insistent' to acquire the Leicester player's signature.

Despite Fulham joining the chase for the Belgium international, the website states the Serie A side are still in pole position. That's because the ex-Atalanta man would prefer a return to Italy and has already given his approval to the Turin club.

Castagne, who can operate as a left-back and right-back, has a deal lasting until 2025. Tutto Juve say Leicester value him around €15m.

Although Juventus are currently on pole, they will have to carry out a few sales to sign Castagne. This may give Fulham time to try to get ahead of the Italian club to convince the player to join them.

Fulham coach reveals what he told Bassey before throwing him into the fray v Chelsea
Fulham manager Marco Silva has revealed his conversation with Calvin Bassey before throwing him into the fray in Sunday's 2-0 loss to Chelsea in the Premier League Summer Series.

Silva almost took everyone by surprise by giving minutes to Bassey, considering the fact that the Nigeria national teamer was acquired two days before the meeting with Chelsea.

In addition, the Leicester City academy product had been inactive for past club Ajax Amsterdam since playing the second half of their 3-0 rout of Shakhtar Donetsk in a pre-season friendly on July 18, amid speculation surrounding his future.

Against Chelsea, the central defender came off the bench at halftime as a replacement for De Fougerolles.

Before Bassey's introduction, the damage had already been done as Chelsea had established a two-goal lead courtesy of efforts from Thiago Silva and Christopher Nkunku.

Silva stressed that his brand new Nigerian signing was not under pressure to perform when he brought him on for the second half.

In quotes relayed by Fulham's official webpage, Silva stated at the post-match press conference: "It was the first 45 minutes for [Bassey] and I told him I didn't expect brilliant, brilliant things. I wanted him to start simple to get some confidence, and he did.

"When he gets to know his teammates better, know the connections better, he can show different things, much more on the ball.

"Off the ball, he's a strong lad, it's just a matter of time for him to understand our principles and our ideas on and off the ball."

Fulham signed Bassey on a four-year contract with a club option to extend by a further twelve months.

Wanted Leicester City man's transfer preference emerges amid Juventus, Fulham interest
Leicester City defender Timothy Castagne wants a move to Juventus this summer, as per Tutto Juve (Via Hammy End).

Castagne, 27, made 37 Premier League appearances for Leicester City last season. He contributed to five goals from right back and proved once again he is more than capable of performing in the top tier.

The Belgian has enjoyed a successful time on the whole since joining the Foxes, but their recent relegation could mark the end of his time with the club. Transfer speculation surrounding his future has been circulating all summer with Fulham reportedly holding strong interest in Castagne. Arsenal were also said to have him on their list of targets, but talk of that deal has since gone cold.

However, despite Premier League interest it appears the Belgian's preference for a move lies elsewhere with new reports stating he wants a transfer to Italian giants Juventus.

Holding firm
So far Leicester City have done well in sticking to their valuation for their key men this summer. Enzo Maresca appears to be building a very strong squad for the second tier, but it appears more and more likely that he will have to go through this season without Castagne as an option.

It remains to be seen whether Juventus can afford to pay what the Foxes want for the 27-year-old, and that could leave the door open for Fulham to still pull a deal off later down the line.

Marco Silva is said to have had Castagne on his list of targets for some time now, but with Castagne seemingly interested in other options at the minute it could put a stop to their interest for the time being.

It'll be interesting to see how this one plays out, but at the moment Castagne is still available for Leicester City's opening game of the season against Coventry City this weekend.

AS Monaco close in on securing summer deal for Tottenham defensive target
AS Monaco close to agreement with Fulham for Tottenham Hotspur target Tosin Adarabioyo

Tottenham Hotspur target Tosin Adarabioyo is set to join AS Monaco, with the Ligue 1 outfit close to agreeing terms with Fulham, according to French outlet Foot Mercato.

The Red and Whites are looking to bolster their squad this summer and had the English national as one of their priorities. However, they also faced competition from the North London side for the defence.

But it looks like the Stade Louis-II side will pip Spurs in the race to acquire the services of the 25-year-old this summer. They quickly reached a consensus with the centre-back and are progressing well in their discussions with the Cottagers.

Fulham and AS Monaco are close to agreeing terms for Tottenham Hotspur target Tosin Adarabioyo. (Photo by Fran Santiago/Getty Images)

Monaco are set to lose Axel Disasi. Chelsea are on the verge of getting a hold of his signature. Thus, the Red and Whites want to seal the deal for Adarabioyo in the coming days.

Over the years, the English national has made his way through the youth ranks at Manchester City before signing for Fulham on a permanent basis. After starring for the Craven Cottage side in the Championship, the defender played a part in their survival last season.

While the centre-back was in and out of the team, he was pivotal to Marco Silva's plans. The Manchester-born star started in 23 matches in the English top flight for the Cottagers in the 2022/23 term.

Tottenham's defence has been inconsistent over the years.

Tottenham beat Fulham twice in the PL in the previous campaign. Adarabioyo featured in our 2-1 win away from home in September. The English national put in a solid performance winning all of his aerial and ground duels.

Spurs were unable to count on their defenders consistently last season. Eric Dier has had his ups and downs over the years. Clement Lenglet also made his fair share of errors. Ben Davies has been played out of position for some time now.

Therefore, we evidently need to reinforce the backline. Adarabioyo would seemingly be a promising option with experience in the PL. But it seems like Monaco are going to be his next destination.

Fulham's second Hudson-Odoi bid turned down
Fulham have had a second bid – believed to be worth £5m – for Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi rejected by Chelsea.

The Evening Standard's Nizaar Kinsella revealed this morning that the Blues have turned down an improved offer from Fulham after discussions throughout the past week. The near neighbours, who played each other in the final game of the Premier League's Summer Series in Maryland last night, are still in negotiations over a deal for the England international. Hudson-Odoi, who is the final year of his contract at Stamford Bridge, wants to leave Chelsea this summer and is keen on making the move to Craven Cottage.

Fulham are not willing to pay the £10m Chelsea are seeking for a player who they will be able to sign for free in January and are currently considering their next steps.

Fulham: Whites "ready to swoop" for Hudson-Odoi
The Englishman could leave Stamford Bridge this summer.

Fulham are "ready to swoop" for Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi and believe a deal can be struck for him, according to reports in the last 48 hours.

Who will Fulham sign this summer?
Marco Silva's side, at long last, recently confirmed new signings ahead of the 2023/2024 season with Mexico international striker Raul Jimenez and centre-back Calvin Bassey joining the west Londoners.

Jimenez will help to fill the void by Aleksandar Mitrovic's potential departure, with the Serbian mooted to be chasing an exit regardless of whether his Saudi move goes through or not.

Meanwhile, Bassey joins Fulham with plenty of potential, having previously starred for Rangers in the SPFL and on their Europa League run in 21/22 - not to mention a brilliant campaign at Ajax last season.

Silva, after sealing these major moves, is certainly not done there according to recent rumours - with the likes of Everton's Demarai Gray, Fluminese's Andre and Man United midfielder Fred all linked in the past week.

Fulham enjoyed a fine campaign over 2022/2023, briefly contending for a European spot and securing a solid mid-table finish - all the while finishing above big-spending London rivals Chelsea.

Another player to have been repeatedly linked with a move to Craven Cottage is Hudson-Odoi, with reports suggesting he is likely to leave Chelsea this summer.

A report by Football Insider and journalist Pete O'Rourke shares an update on their pursuit of the 22-year-old, and it's stated they are "ready to swoop" for him.

There is currently a difference in valuations delaying a full agreement between the clubs, but there is a belief a deal can be wrapped up for the forward.

While Serie A side Lazio and league rivals Nottingham Forest are believed to be keen on signing Hudson-Odoi, Fulham have a slight edge in the race, with the player apparently keen to remain in London.

The £180,000-per-week star is also "ready" to quit Chelsea, meaning it could be just a matter of time before one of the aforementioned clubs seal a deal for him, depending on developments.

How good is Callum Hudson-Odoi?
On loan at Bayer Leverkusen last season, Hudson-Odoi struggled to make an impact, scoring just one goal and assisting one other in 21 total appearances.

However, the Englishman is still only young, and maybe a fresh opportunity away from Chelsea is exactly what is needed to reignite his career.

Chelsea legend and two-time manager Frank Lampard tipped him to be "huge" in 2019, going on to call him an "incredible player".

"I know what a player he is," said Lampard to the media.

"He can be an incredible player and he has improvement to make and I want to work with him to do it. But for that he needs to stay longer at the club and of course that then goes to a decision between him and the club itself. I can see him being a huge player for us."

Meanwhile, members of the media like FourFourTwo writer Mark White have revered Hudson-Odoi for his "unbelievable vision" whilst calling Hudson-Odoi "special".

"Hudson-Odoi is special," said White in 2022.

"He can breeze past full-backs and has unbelievable vision. But what was mad about him from a young age was the sheer mentality. The confidence. The control. He exuded a vibe like nothing ever seen in English football."

Referees will clamp down on abuse with new FA rules to issue cards when players confront them after last season saw Jurgen Klopp, Aleksandar Mitrovic and others banned for aggressive behaviour

Referees will be encouraged to show yellow cards when confronted by players
Repeat offenders can expect heavier fines as authorities urge behaviour 'reset'
Club will also seek stronger sanctions for fans who chant about tragedies

Referees will be encouraged to issue at least one yellow card where two or more players confront them this season as part of a series of measures designed to improve behaviour on and off the pitch at all levels of the English game.

The football authorities are seeking a 'reset' in how those who play and watch the game conduct themselves, with a series of measures intended to tackle the issue set out on Monday.

Key among them are a new 'Participant Charter' empowering match officials to take tougher action against unacceptable behaviour, backed up by stronger disciplinary action from the Football Association.

Serious and repeat offenders can expect to face increased financial penalties, while referees will be encouraged to issue at least a yellow card if they are confronted by two or more players.

Captains will be expected to take responsibility for their team-mates by encouraging them to play fairly and show respect towards the match officials and their decisions.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp was twice served with touchline bans for abuse last season

Fulham forward Aleksandar Mitrovic was banned for eight games for pushing Chris Kavanagh

Despite a raft of unsavoury incidents in the professional game last season - including Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp twice being issued with touchline bans for verbally abusing officials and Fulham striker Aleksandar Mitrovic banned for eight games for pushing a referee - there are no indications that it will follow grassroots football in issuing points deductions to teams for serious or repeated instances of bad behaviour by their players or coaches.

Off the field, clubs in the Premier League and the EFL will also seek stronger sanctions against anyone found to be involved in football tragedy abuse, such as chanting about the Hillsborough or Munich air disasters.

Clubs will also continue efforts to issue sanctions to pitch invaders, the use of pyrotechnics, those who bring drugs to games and those who engage in discriminatory abuse in the stands and online.

FA chief executive Mark Bullingham said: 'Football has the power to unite and inspire all those that play and watch the game. However, sometimes, this can be negatively impacted by a small minority of players, coaches and fans.

'Our collective approach is to reset this behaviour on the pitch and from the sidelines, whilst giving our referees the respect and protection that they deserve.

'We are also determined to address the rise in unacceptable behaviour from the stands.

'Incidents such as dangerous conduct, discrimination, and chanting about football-related tragedies have no place in our game - and can lead to football bans and potential criminal action.

'Passion, emotion and excitement are fundamental to football, however this must be shown in the right way. Everyone can play their part, so that together we can create a safe and enjoyable environment for all.'

Aleksandar Mitrovic 'wants to leave Fulham even if Saudi Arabia move falls through'
Fulham striker Aleksandar Mitrovic will reportedly push for a summer exit even if a move to Al-Hilal falls through.

The West London club have already turned down two offers for Mitrovic from the Saudi Pro League side, including the latest bid of £40m.

After being left frustrated with Fulham's decision to reject Al Hilal's approach, Mitrovic allegedly vowed to never play for the club again.

The Saudi Arabian side have presented Mitrovic with a lucrative contract offer that would triple his £120,000 a week wages.

The Serbia international has spent time away from the squad, but Fulham boss Marco Silva has confirmed that the forward has returned to training.

According to The Standard, Mitrovic is still keen to leave the club this summer and will seek an alternative move if a transfer to Al-Hilal fails to materialise.

The Cottagers are currently holding out for a fee in the region of £50m, but Al-Hilal are reluctant to meet that valuation.

Mitrovic, who has three years left to run on his contract, scored 14 goals in 24 Premier League games last term, helping the club achieve a top-half finish.

Since joining the club in 2018, the Serbian has registered a total of 111 goals in 205 appearances across all competitions.

With Mitrovic pushing for a move away from Craven Cottage, Fulham have delved into the market to strengthen their forward line with the addition of Raul Jimenez from Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Jimenez made his first appearance for the club in Sunday's 2-0 defeat to Chelsea in the final match of the Premier League summer series.

Defender Calvin Bassey also played his first game in a Fulham shirt after completing a €21m (£18m) move from Ajax last week.

The Cottagers will wrap up their pre-season schedule on Saturday when they face German side Hoffenheim at Craven Cottage, before they turn their attention to their Premier League opener against Everton on August 12.

Everton Star Pushing For Goodison Exit As Club Haggle With Toffees
Demarai Gray is pushing for his exit from Everton as Fulham haggle over agreeing on a deal to sign him this summer, according to journalist Alan Nixon.

Gray played a crucial role in helping Everton to stay afloat in the Premier League last season but is in the final year of his contract.

Everton are reluctant to sell him and have already rejected an approach from Besiktas but the player wants to move on from Goodison Park.

He would prefer to stay in England and Fulham are interested in getting their hands on the player.

However, it has been claimed Fulham's offers are still below what Everton would want from his sale.

But it has been suggested that the player now pushing for his exit and has been growing increasingly impatient.

With less than two weeks left before the start of the season, Gray wants his future sorted out soon and is keen on the move to Fulham.

Everton want to make as much as possible from his sale but Fulham's offers are below the £10m mark.

With the player keen on the move, Fulham are haggling over to try to get a deal done at a discount.

Fulham defender Tosin Adarabioyo agrees personal terms in principle with Monaco as Ligue 1 club bid £4.2million for Tottenham target

Tosin Adarabioyo has agreed personal terms in principle with Monaco
The Ligue 1 club have bid £4.2million for the Fulham centre-back, who is 25
Monaco are also signing Saints' Mohammed Salisu to replace Axel Disasi

Tosin Adarabioyo is keen to join Monaco and the transfer could be completed by the end of this week.

A move to Monaco is viewed as a good opportunity by the centre-back to keep progressing after his near three-year stint at Fulham.

Other teams have shown interest in the 25-year-old former Manchester City graduate, but personal terms have already been agreed in principle and Monaco is his number one option with the French league side's project particularly appealing for Adarabioyo.

Monaco are continuing negotiations with Fulham and have already sent a £4.2million bid. They are hopeful of reaching an agreement swiftly as the player has already given the move the green light.

The centre-back is impressed with Monaco's project but Spurs remain in the mix also

Tottenham remain in the mix, but Monaco have accelerated talks and should get the deal closed.

Mail Sport revealed last week that Monaco were keen to bring in at least two centre-backs as Chelsea were working on a £39m deal for Axel Disasi.

Southampton's Mohammed Salisu is due to have his medical today ahead of his £12m switch to Monaco and Adarabioyo should follow.

Fulham Challenge Juventus in the Race to Sign Castagne
Juventus haven't dropped out of the fray to acquire Timothy Castagne, but they face a new determined competitor, Fulham. The player would like to return to Italy, but the Bianconeri will likely wait to complete some sales and for his price tag to drop before lodging a new offer, Tuttomercatoweb informs.

The wingback is regularly featuring in the friendlies this summer, as his departure is not yet looming. The Old Lady being kicked out from the European Conference League isn't a problem to him.

Juventus remain in pole position for Castagne, but his price tag is €15M. They could delay their pursuit until they procure more money or Leicester City agree to an initial loan. They are in advanced talks to offload Denis Zakaria. Instead, Weston McKennie and others are struggling to fetch good offers.

The Bianconeri bid farewell to Juan Cuadrado and won't have Mattia De Sciglio till January due to an ACL tear. They have already signed Timothy Weah at the position.

Our Take on Juventus and Castagne
The Old Lady will recalibrate their transfer market following the UEFA ban, as they don't need to be super deep. While they could use another option, there's a chance Andrea Cambiaso will serve as a deputy on both flanks, especially if Samuel Iling-Junior stays. It seems that most of their players, including the youngsters, are expendable but only for proper bids.

Fulham haggle with Everton over unsettled Gray
Fulham and Everton are bartering over wantaway winger Demarai Gray, according to the Sun's Alan Nixon.

The Whites are keen on bringing the Birmingham-born wide man to Craven Cottage but believe Everton's £10m valuation is far too high – especially with the 27 year-old now in the final year of his current contract at Goodison Park. The former Leicester winger played a pivotal role in ensuring Everton survived under Sean Dyche last term but is not considered to be a part of Dyche's long-term plans on Merseyside.

Gray is keen to reignite his career elsewhere but Everton are reluctant to let him leave without securing the services of a replacement. Everton have rejected offers from Besiktas and Fulham, but the Jamaican international wants his future resolved swiftly. The two sides will go head-to-head at Goodison Park on the first day of the new Premier League campaign but it remains to be seen whom Gray will be playing for then.

Fulham have golden chance to land £13m ace Arsenal and Juventus like
Fulham are 'pressing' ahead with a deal for Leicester City defender Timothy Castagne as Premier League rivals Arsenal appear to cool their interest in the £13 million-rated Belgium international.

Six weeks ago, breaking his silence following Leicester City's calamitous relegation from the top-flight, the former Genk and Atalanta full-back expressed his desire to leave the Foxes for what he described as a 'top club'.

"The next two months will be important to make the right choices," Timothy Castagne said. "I let my agent do his job to the moment. He is having discussions.

"There will be a choice to be made, for sure. We are trying to find a top club."

Timothy Castagne eyeing Leicester City exit
Whether Castagne considers Fulham to be a side within that lofty bracket, however, perhaps time will tell. Even the most hard-nosed Cottagers supporter would have to accept that there is quite the gap, in terms of stature and history, between Fulham and two of Castagne's other suitors; Arsenal and Juventus.

But the prospect of regular Premier League football at Craven Cottage in the year before Euro 2024 should still hold plenty of appeal.

Arsenal opened talks with Leicester earlier in the summer, according to Sacha Tavolieri. A potential move to the Emirates appears to have gone by the wayside, however, since Arsenal brought in Jurrien Timber from Ajax. The cultured, highly-versatile Timber shone as a centre-half in Amsterdam. But he may be utilised by Arteta in the right-back spot Castagne prefers.

TuttoJuve, meanwhile, believe that, while Juventus are currently in pole position, the troubled Serie A giants may need to first raise funds via player sales. What's more, in a further boost to Fulham's hopes, a move to Turin may not appeal to Castagne quite as much as it may have done after Juve were banned from European football for 2023/24.

Fulham, meanwhile, continue to push hard. Their pursuit of Castagne is, to borrow TuttoJuve's term, 'insistent'.
