Fabrizio Romano suggests Fulham aren't the only club trying to sign Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg on deadline day
Fabrizio Romano has suggested that Fulham aren't the only club trying to sign Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg on deadline day.

The transfer insider has been speaking about Hojbjerg's future in his latest YouTube video and claimed Erik ten Hag's Manchester United 'remains an option'.

Hojbjerg looks set to leave Tottenham today and is attracting interest from a host of clubs ahead of the deadline.

The 28-year-old is yet to start in the Premier League under Ange Postecoglou this season, with Spurs eyeing a late move for Conor Gallagher to replace him.

The Daily Mail claimed just yesterday that Atletico Madrid have re-opened talks with Spurs over a possible loan deal for the Dane.

Yet, Fulham are also expressing an interest as Bayern Munich line up a deal for Joao Palhinha.

And Romano has suggested that Manchester United remain in the race to sign the Spurs star.

Manchester United still an option for Hojbjerg
Speaking in his latest YouTube video, Romano provided an update on Tottenham's interest in Gallagher, as well as Hojbjerg's future.

"Keep an eye on what's going to happen with Conor Gallagher because Tottenham are interested. It also depends on what happens with Hojbjerg," he said.

"Hojbjerg remains an option for Man United and was also discussed with Fulham in the last 24 hours."

Hojbjerg has been a key man for Tottenham over the past three seasons after making the switch from Southampton back in 2020.

But the midfielder doesn't seem to be part of Postecoglou's plans moving forward, with the Aussie favouring a midfield three of Yves Bissouma, James Maddison and Pape Matar Sarr.

Of course, Spurs will have to land a replacement if they are to let the Dane leave before the deadline.

Gallagher seems to be their top target at the moment, but it remains to be seen whether Chelsea would be open to selling the Englishman.

Nevertheless, Hojbjerg seems to have plenty of options on the table and Tottenham shouldn't struggle to offload him in the event they reach an agreement to sign Gallagher.

Fulham prioritising Yann M'Vila as Joao Palhinha replacement
Fulham will reportedly prioritise signing Yann M'Vila to replace Joao Palhinha if the Portuguese international joins Bayern Munich.

According to reputed French journalist Santi Aouna, Yann M'Vila is the subject of interest from Fulham. And the cultured French midfielder has emerged as the priority option to replace Joao Palhinha. The Portuguese international is closing in on joining Bayern Munich ahead of Friday's summer transfer deadline.

Yann M'Vila is a well-travelled midfielder, representing clubs in France, Italy, England, Russia, and Greece in his career. The 33-year-old spent his formative years with four French clubs before graduating from the Stade Rennais Academy. His longest spells came with Rennes and Rubin Kazan.

The cultured Frenchman can play as a centre-back and a box-to-box midfielder, although he is primarily a holding midfielder. M'Vila's most recent spell came at Olympiacos, where he made nearly 150 appearances while chipping in with eight goals and seven assists. But the experienced midfielder is now a free agent after his contract expired.

It is bizarre that despite M'Vila's experience, he has been unable to secure a move to any club thus far this summer. But Fulham might finally offer him his next destination on Deadline Day of the ongoing transfer window. And Santi Aouna has suggested that the player is Fulham's priority option to replace Joao Palhinha.

The Portuguese international is the subject of interest from Bayern Munich, who will look to sign him before Friday's summer transfer deadline. And reputed Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano has suggested that Palhinha is waiting for Fulham to finalise his replacement before joining the Bundesliga champions.

The Cottagers have shown interest in several midfielders in the last few hours, including Youssouf Fofana. But M'Vila is the priority candidate to fill Palhinha's void. However, considering the cultured French midfielder is well into his thirties, he will only be a short-term solution for Fulham.

Nonetheless, the French journalist's claims suggest Fulham will look to wrap up the move for M'Vila before parting ways with Palhinha. And it will be interesting to see if a deadline-day move sees the light of day for the 33-year-old in the coming hours.

Games for the week-end 02/09
We get to visit Man City at their place for a 3 o'clock kickoff
Well after a hard fought draw against Arsenal, City away is an even bigger test? is this our toughest game of the season?
The cup game against Spurs showed the teams resilience and "grit" winning on a penalty shoot out against a team that "most" of the pundits expected an "easy win" over Fulham, no real surprise about that opinion.

Marco will have a decision to make between Ream and Bassey, I'd go for Bassey however I think Marco will select Tim, its a difficult choice and arguments can be made for either.
At the time of writing Palhinha is still a Fulham player, fingers crossed he still will be Saturday morning, but there are strong rumours that Bayern Munich are very, very keen.
Wolves are trying to persuade Harrison Reed to join them, I'm not sure what the attraction would be, apart from, presumably, higher wages?

our record against Man City is awful with 1 win, 17 losses and 3 draws

will Castagne be in the squad?, assuming no injuries, departures or "new" players available, my team would be...

Fulham open talks to sign Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg
Fulham have reportedly opened talks to sign Tottenham midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg as a potential replacement for Joao Palhinha.

According to Nizaar Kinsella, Fulham are interested in signing Tottenham enforcer Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg. And the Londoners are already in talks about a possible move before the summer transfer window slams shut.

It is well-documented that the Cottagers have a real battle on their hands to keep Joao Palhinha at Craven Cottage, having rejected a £47 million bid from Bayern Munich for their key midfielder. Bayern boss Thomas Tuchel has made the Portugese international his No. 1 target in the final hours of the summer window.

Fulham have remained adamant that Palhinha is not for sale, with Marco Silva determined to keep him after already losing key striker Aleksandar Mitrovic, who left to join Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal earlier this month. The Cottagers slapped an overall package demand worth £80 million on Palhinha's head when West Ham made a move to sign him earlier this summer.

However, reports in Germany have claimed personal terms have already been agreed in principle between the player and the Bundesliga champions. And a reported £60 million bid should be enough to tempt the West London club into a deal, with the 28-year-old keen on a move to Allianz Stadium.

Should Palhinha eventually move to Germany, it would leave limited time to find a replacement for a player who was crucial to the side's successful first season back in the top flight last time out. He featured 35 times in the league as Fulham secured a top-half finish and almost broke their Premier League points record.

As such, the Cottagers have already started scouring for replacements, with Tottenham midfielder Hojbjerg one of several candidates approached, alongside widely reported targets such as AS Monaco's Youssouf Fofana and Manchester United's Scott McTominay.

The Tottenham star is reportedly open to leaving the club after falling down in the pecking order following a managerial change and shift in playing style from Ange Postecoglou. Fulham have been keeping tabs on Hojbjerg's situation in North London and have now decided to pursue him as Marco Silva looks to add more experience to his side over at Craven Cottage.

The 28-year-old Danish midfielder was once an integral part of Tottenham, with his physical dominance and efficient passing playing a vital part under former boss Antonio Conte's charge.

Graced with power, awareness and an intimidating compatibility, Hojbjerg is master at picking off loose balls and set transitions off, which makes him quite a fit for Marco Silva's system. It will be interesting to see how this story develops with less than 12 hours left before the transfer window closes.

Joao Palhinha Given Permission To Fly To Munich
Fulham have given Joao Palhinha permission to fly to Munich, but the player has yet to receive approval from the Cottagers for the medical to take place.

Bayern Munich are keen on landing Fulham star Palhinha before the end of the transfer window to replace Ryan Gravenberch.

The German outfit have opened negotiations with Fulham for the services of the midfielder.

And Marco Silva's side have slapped a £60m price tag on the Portuguese midfielder as they are reluctant to sell Palhinha until they find a replacement.

Palhinha, who played 35 times for Fulham in the league last season, is open to a move to Bayern Munich.

Now according to Sky Deutschland, Fulham have granted Palhinha permission to fly to Munich.

However, the Cottagers have not given the green light to undergo a medical, as there are still some details in the agreement that need to be sorted out.

Fulham's heirarchy are also insistent on bringing in a replacement for the Portuguese before they approve the sale.

Fulham offer Alex Iwobi significant pay rise to quit Everton on deadline day
Fulham have offered Alex Iwobi a significantly better offer than the one he has at Everton, according to the Mirror.

The newspaper reported on its print edition (page 59, 1 September) that the Cottagers have made a £20million bid for the midfielder.

The Nigeria international joined the Toffees from Arsenal in 2019, and has made 140 appearances for the Merseyside club.

"Iwobi was Everton's most creative player last term with nine assists, but his contract is up next summer and Fulham – believed to have bid £20million – have made him a significantly better offer than the one he has at the Toffees," according to the Mirror.

Dyche dilemma
Everton boss Sean Dyche has faced many dilemmas in his time at the club so far, with issues both on and off the pitch given him plenty of headaches.

And the situation with midfield man Iwobi is the latest one, with the manager needing to make a decision that suits the club.

First and foremost, losing the former Gunners man would be a blow given both his creativity and his versatility on the pitch, with not many other players able to offer what he does.

However, the Toffees will be fully aware that the player would more than likely leave the club for free next summer upon the expiry of his contract, meaning it would be foolish to say no to £20million this time around.

But even if it does suit the Merseyside club, they would still be in a tricky situation given how they do not have much time at all to spend some of the fee on a replacement.

Fulham make Tottenham Hotspur £30 million offer for midfielder
Fulham have reportedly offered Tottenham Hotspur £30 million for Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.

That's according to a recent report from Football Insider, who claims the Cottagers have identified Spurs' number five as the ideal replacement for Bayern Munich-bound Joao Palhinha.

Although it remains unknown whether or not Daniel Levy will accept his London rivals' opening offer, the fact Hojbjerg has failed to make a single appearance under Ange Postecoglou this season suggests they will.

And with Palhinha wanted by Thomas Tuchel and already travelling to Germany to undergo a potential medical, if Fulham stands any chance of replacing the highly-rated Portuguese midfielder, they must come to an agreement, not only with Bayern Munich but also with Spurs before tonight's 11 p.m. (UK time) deadline.

During his first, and potentially, last, season at Craven Cottage, Palhinha, who has up to five years left on his deal, has scored five goals, including an 87th-minute equaliser against Arsenal last weekend, in 43 games in all competitions.

After Hojbjerg and Dier, Fulham now keen on signing another 'magnificent' Tottenham player
Fulham and Tottenham always seem to do a lot of business with one another.

Indeed, Spurs have pinched the likes of Ryan Sessegnon, Mousa Dembele and Clint Dempsey to Tottenham over the years, and now, it may be time for Fulham to ask Spurs for a favour or two.

Fulham are in a bit of a state right now as they've just sold Aleksandar Mitrovic and they're set to sell Joao Palhinha.

The Whites need reinforcements, and they've looked at a few Tottenham players as of late with Eric Dier and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg both linked.

Interestingly, those two aren't the only Spurs players being considered by Tottenham.

According to Graeme Bailey, the Whites are also considering a move for Tanguy Ndombele as a potential Palhinha replacement.

Now, we have to pour cold water on any rumour immediately, but this one is very hard to believe.

Ndombele and Palhinha are chalk and cheese as players. Ndombele is a languid playmaker while Palhinha is an energetic destroyer, and, if we're being honest, Ndombele's wage demands are way too high for a team like Fulham.

This is a transfer that we really can't see going ahead before the deadline, but, as we all know, anything can happen in the final hours of a transfer window.

It remains to be seen where the 'magnificent' player will end up.

Looking back to Tony Gales move from Fulham to West Ham you can't help but think that we were ripped off by the  £200,000 transfer fee for such a top class player.
Ask me who I would rather have in a Fulham team Tony Gale or Palhinha and without hesitation I would go for Gale.
This thought makes me feel a little better about losing Palhinha, at least we are getting a good fee for him.

Scott McTominay Manchester United transfer exit possible as Fulham make contact

McTominay, 26, could depart Old Trafford before the English window shuts at 11pm tonight

Fulham have reportedly made contact with Manchester United over a deal for Scott McTominay.

The Scotland international has emerged as a target for the Cottagers as Bayern Munich chase a mega-bucks deal for Joao Palhinha. McTominay has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford all summer after falling down the midfield pecking order. The 26-year-old made just 10 Premier League starts last season and has been limited to just two sub appearances so far this term - totaling seven minutes of football.

West Ham had a £30million bid turned down for the Tartan Army hero last month, with United standing firm over their £45m valuation. The Hammers have yet to return to the table with an improved offer but that could change as we enter the final hours of the window. However, with Bayern pursuing Portugal international Joao Palhinha, Fulham have identified McTominay as a direct replacement, according to Sky Sports.

The Bundesliga champions hope to conclude a swoop for Palhinha before the German window shuts at 5pm UK time, but Fulham are demanding an eye-watering £80m for a player they signed from Sporting Lisbon last summer for £20m.

McTominay's potential move to Craven Cottage will likely depend on whether or not a deal is struck with Bayern to sell 28-year-old Palhina. One-club man McTominay - who came through the ranks at Old Trafford - was ironically linked with a shock move to the Allianz Arena last week as part of a swap deal for Ryan Gravenberch.

Report: Bayern Munich and Fulham agree a deal for João Palhinha, flight booked
Palhinha is on the plane!

The last few hours have been very quiet from Bayern Munich, especially in regards to the Palhinha transfer, but it seems that there has been a massive breakthrough.

As per reports from Sport1's Kerry Hau and Patrick Berger, Fulham FC have agreed to a fee of £58 million (€68 million) including add-ons. Head coach Marco Silva has understood the situation and has given the green light for the transfer of João Palhina to Bayern. Final decision remains in Fulham's hands, who are still working on a replacement for the Portuguese midfield superstar, as captured by @iMiaSanMia.

The latest from Sky's Florian Plettenberg is that Bayern Munich target Florian Plettenberg has now been granted permission from Fulham FC to fly to Munich, but still hasn't received the heads up for his medical. Fabrizio Romano reports that the turning point were the latest round of talks overnight.

More confirmation keeps flooding in: Sportbild's Tobi Altschäffl says that Fulham have a verbal agreement with Bayern for the transfer, with only the final details remaining to be clarified now. And, Abendzeitung's Koch Maximilian reports that its a done deal: for a fee of €65 million.

Bayern Munich 'agree £55m fee with Fulham to sign Joao Palhinha' with the Bundesliga giants set to land their target before the end of the window

Bayern Munich have reportedly agreed a fee with Fulham for Joao Palhinha

Bayern Munich have reportedly agreed a £55million fee with Fulham to sign Joao Palhinha.

Fulham rejected Bavarian giants' initial offer of £47m for the Portuguese midfielder earlier this week but negotiations between the two clubs continued.

The 28-year-old is said to be determined to secure a move to join Thomas Tuchel's side and has flown to Munich in anticipation of the move being completed before Friday's deadline.

According to German publication Bild, the total fee paid could increase with performance-related bonuses included in the deal.

However, the transfer being completed is contingent on Fulham being able to sign another defensive midfielder on short notice, with the club having previously earmarked Monaco's Youssouf Fofana as a potential replacement.

The departure would mark another blow for the Cottagers this summer, after last season's top scorer Aleksandar Mitrovic left the club to join Al-Hilal earlier this month.

Palhinha had previously been the subject of interest from Liverpool, but the Reds ultimately opted not to make an offer and now look set to sign Bayern midfielder Ryan Gravenberch.

After arriving at Craven Cottage from Sporting last summer, Palhinha starred in his maiden campaign in the Premier League as Marco Silva's side exceeded expectations to finish tenth on their return to the top flight.

'Total agreement' reached for Fulham player's transfer – Silva's side working on signing his replacement
Earlier this week, Bayern Munich identified Fulham's João Palhinha as a new target to bolster their midfielder.

The two clubs have reached a 'total agreement' for the 28-year-old's transfer, allowing the London club to collect a fee around €65m in the process.

That's according to Sky Deutschland journalist Florian Plettenberg, who states the Fulham star is 'on his way' to Munich, to carry out a medical and other transfer formalities.

Despite the agreement between the two clubs, Plettenberg claims the deal is not done yet because Marco Silva's side must first sign Palhinha's successor.

Over at Bild, they also explain that the Bundesliga winners and Fulham have reached an agreement in principle for €65m plus bonuses.

It's further claimed the two clubs are sorting out the last details of the operation and once it's done, the Portugal international will make a trip to Munich.

Thomas Tuchel had made it clear to his superiors that he needs a new No.6 and Bayern are close to fulfilling their manager's request by bringing Palhinha to the Allianz Arena.

Fulham 'give green light' for £58m Bayern sale with Man Utd, Spurs tangled in midfield transfer domino

Fulham have given Joao Palhinha permission to fly to Germany to complete a move to Bayern Munich, according to reports.

The Cottagers are not expected to let the Portuguese midfielder leave the club until they have a replacement lined up.

Marco Silva is reportedly interested in bringing in Manchester United's Scott McTominay or Tottenham's Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, while there have been some rumours linking them with Red Devils target Sofyan Amrabat.

United are believed to be reluctant to sell McTominay but Hojbjerg is not in Ange Postecoglou's plans in north London so seems to be the most realistic option.

Palhinha's move to Bayern is expected to be one of the biggest sagas on deadline day and it has been widely reported that he is on his way to Munich.

According to Sky Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg, there is a 'green light for the flight' but no medical is booked.

This is because 'more details have to be clarified', including the signing of a replacement at Craven Cottage.

Plettenberg adds that there is a 'total agreement' between Fulham and Bayern, with the Bundesliga champions expected to pay a €65million (£56.6million) transfer fee.

The Portuguese international is 'on his way to Munich' at the time of writing and will sign a five-year contract, it is added.

Meanwhile, Sky Sports says Fulham will only let Palhinha leave if they get a new defensive midfielder through the door with McTominay and Hojbjerg their top two targets.

SPORT1 journalist Patrick Berger says the two clubs will agree a £58m fee after Cottagers head coach Silva gave the 'green light'.

Berger has also reported that Bayern are interested in signing Southampton and Germany centre-back Armel Bella-Kotchap.

Borussia Dortmund had also been interested but have ended their interest, with the Saints apparently asking for a €3.5m loan fee.

Should negotiations between Bayern and Southampton collapse, the German giants will go for Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah, Berger adds.

'We are trying': Club attempting to renew 28-year-old's contract, Wolves could bid again
Fulham are actively looking to stop Harrison Reed from joining Wolves and are trying to renew his contract.

Yesterday, it was claimed that Wanderers had made a bid for the 28-year-old midfielder.

But that offer was rejected by the Premier League side.

Reed is a regular pick for Fulham.

Last season, he played in 37 of Fulham's 38 Premier League games – starting the vast majority.

This term, he's featured in the Cottagers' first three Premier League games and their Carabao Cup win over Tottenham Hotspur.

Fulham want to renew Harrison Reed's contract
Wolves are potentially looking at signing Reed today.

But their efforts could become complicated by Fulham trying to extend the player's contract.

At the moment, Reeds has just one year remaining at Craven Cottage.

Yesterday, Fulham boss Marco Silva said (via The Athletic): "We are trying to renew Harrison Reed's contract. It shows he's an important player for us."

Wanderers are thought to be keen to bid again.

But if Reed pens a new deal this may well discourage Wanderers.

Something else that could complicate a deal for Reed is the situation with Joao Palhinha.

The Portuguese midfielder has emerged as a target for Bayern Munich.

Should that move come to fruition, then it may be that Fulham are unwilling to let Reed go. It already sounds as though they do not want to sell.

Fulham line up Divock Origi swoop
Marco Silva's Fulham are looking to sign 28-year-old AC Milan forward Divock Origi before the end of the transfer deadline.

According to Sky Sports, Fulham are looking to bolster their attack before the end of the transfer window, and they have their eyes set on Divock Origi. The Cottagers are looking to bring back the 28-year-old striker to the Premier League. And they are in a three-way battle with Burnley and Nottingham Forest for the former Champions League winner

Origi was a part of the Liverpool setup back in the day. The Belgian international was an important part of their first-team squad under Jurgen Klopp. While he was not a regular starter, the 28-year-old did feature in quite a lot of important matches and managed to score some iconic goals that will go down in the history of the club.

The former LOSC Lille striker won as many as six titles with Liverpool, including the Premier League and the Champions League. After a successful stint at the Merseyside club where he featured in 175 matches and contributed towards 59 goals, the Belgian international decided to join Italian giants AC Milan in the summer of 2022.

The 28-year-old was involved in a total of 36 matches and was on the pitch for just over 1,100 minutes. He did not have the kind of impact everyone expected as he found the back of the net just twice and was left on the bench more often than not.

While Origi's contract with the Italian club runs until the summer of 2026, both the player and the club are ready to part ways. AC Milan have already transfer listed the 28-year-old and are ready to listen to offers for his services.

Meanwhile, there is a lot of interest from England in his services. Quite a few English clubs are ready to bring him back to the Premier League, and Fulham are one of them. The Cottagers have been looking for a new striker ever since the departure of Aleksandar Mitrovic.

His departure has left a huge void. While they do have Raul Jimenez in their ranks, they need another forward to ensure they have enough firepower. As a result, the Cottagers are looking to sign Origi by the end of the transfer window.

But, it won't be easy as Burnley and Nottingham Forest are also in the three-way battle. Meanwhile, Fulham have other strikers on their radar, too, including Moises Kean. But it will be interesting to see if Origi arrives at Craven Cottage instead.

Fulham: Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg transfer update
The Cottagers are keen on the Tottenham Hotspur midfielder...

Fulham have now opened talks to sign Tottenham Hotspur's Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, and a report has revealed whether the midfielder would be willing to make the move to Craven Cottage...

What's the latest Fulham transfer news?
There is now likely to be a major outgoing for Fulham on deadline day, with Sky Sports reporter Florian Plettenberg recently claiming Joao Palhinha has now been given permission to fly to Germany, ahead of a move to reigning Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich.

A medical is yet to be booked, as more details have to be clarified, including the Cottagers' replacement, with Sky Sports' Gianluca Di Marzio now confirming they are working on a deal for Fiorentina's Sofyan Amrabat, which could amount to a total of €30m (£26m).

However, the Londoners are not the only Premier League club in the race for the central midfielder's signature, with Manchester United also in hot pursuit, and Football Insider report the Red Devils are now putting the finishing touches on a deal.

As such, Fulham may be forced to turn their attentions elsewhere, and they could stand a good chance of signing Hojbjerg, with a report from The Evening Standard revealing the midfielder would be "willing to listen" to any proposals put forward.

The 28-year-old is willing to listen to a possible move to Fulham before the transfer window slams shut because he has not started any of Tottenham's first three Premier League matches, under the helm of new manager Ange Postecoglou.

The Cottagers have opened talks to sign the Dane, who could be brought in as a replacement for Palhinha, but they may have to battle it out with La Liga giants Atletico Madrid, who are hoping Spurs lower their asking price before the 11pm deadline tonight.

Not only is the Tottenham midfielder a target for Marco Silva at this late stage in the window, but contact has also been made with several other players, including Manchester United's Scott McTominay, and AS Monaco's Youssouf Fofana, so there is no shortage of potential options.

Who has Pierre Emile-Hojbjerg played for?
The Denmark international started his career with Bayern Munich, making a total of 25 first-team appearances for the club, before spending time on loan at FC Augsburg and eventually going on to join Schalke 04, where he featured 30 times.

However, the former Bayern man truly made a name for himself in the Premier League, making 134 appearances for Southampton, and he has since gone on to become a key player for Spurs, playing every league game in the 2020-21 season.

Although he is clearly unfancied by Postecoglou, the £102k-per-week maestro has put in some fantastic performances over the course of the past year, ranking in the 91st percentile for his pass completion rate per 90, and in the 80th percentile for interceptions, when compared to his positional peers.

Despite not being as defensively strong as Palhinha, who places in the 99th percentile for tackles, Hojbjerg is a top-quality player, having been lauded as "unbelievable" by Jamie O'Hara, and he could be the perfect replacement for the Portugal international, making this one to watch.

Alex Iwobi: Fulham close in on £20m Deadline Day deal for Everton winger

The former Arsenal winger is heading back to London

Fulham are close to finalising a deal with Everton for Alex Iwobi as the summer transfer deadline approaches.

Standard Sport understands there is confidence the former Arsenal man will complete the move, with a fee expected in the region of £20million.

After losing Aleksandar Mitrovic and eight further players this summer, it has been a busy transfer window for Fulham, who have signed Raul Jimenez, Adama Traore, Calvin Bassey, Timothy Castagne and goalkeeper Steven Benda.

Avoiding any final hiccups, Iwobi will become Marco Silva's latest summer recruit.

Iwobi returns to London after four years away, having previously graduated through the academy at Arsenal.

The 27-year-old Nigerian international played against Fulham in the Toffees' opening-day defeat at Goodison Park, and has made two appearances so far this season.

Iwobi will offer Fulham valuable competition for places in attacking areas, with left-wing his favoured position.

He has scored nine goals in 140 appearances for Everton.
