Th last time we played Luton Town in the top flight was 63 years ago at Kenilworth Road. Lost 4-1 with Jimmy Hill scoring for us. That was my first match without any parental guidance. Was anyone else there? After paying I still recall walking through someone's house tp get in.

I have only been to Luton once and that was near the end of our 1949 promotion season when a friend and I cycled from Fulham. We had a good victory which set us firmly on our way to promotion and to our first ever season in the top flight.

I thought mine was a long while ago and yours was 74 years ago! We don't for those days do we. Was you at the Cottage for the championship celebrations? I definitely wasn't!
